Look at the outside of the cover and you won't be able to tell. It was an old style factory cover for my 2008 GMC Sierra. This helped fix the smoking problem that occurred during engine start up

My valve cover has been in place for about 1000 miles now. The oil did not drop after 500 miles, and I couldn't tell if any had. This is the most current revision of the driver side valve cover for GMT800s. The PCV valve is built into the engine, so you don't need to buy one separately.
