It would be a mistake to try to "tirial" fit it too many times before you have mastered it
4/5

The five switches are all in place and I have built a d-box with all the wiring. Then I have made the panel. Two tabs at the bottom of the mechanism have to be firmly secured before the stock "orange" pins will lock in place. The first time you install it, there may be some minor tweaks involved, but my unit has stayed in place without any issues for over a year.

I found the perfect match for my 2016 Wrangler JK
3/5

A 2016 Jeep Wrangler was the perfect vehicle for this. I thought it looked very nice at first glance because it was made of good quality plastics and had a clear, textured pattern. Even more impressed was I once I put the Daystar panel next to the factory panel, since the pattern and colors were exactly the same! It was very easy to install, in fact the hardest part was removing the factory panel because it has a lower molded piece tucked away under the Nevertheless, once that was done, the factory retainers clips were very easy to remove from the factory panel and they clicked into the Daystar panel without any problem. My only reason for docking Daystar a star was because I had a couple of issues with the panel. 1 - The retention hooks on the lower half of the hooks need to have their friction "bumps" shaved down so that it can slip more easily into place. br>br> br>br> There is a slight bend to the factory panel but there is none on the Daystar panel. The problem can be remedied by heating it up and bending it, or by doing nothing with it, and it will still match your product.

I hope that this helps, and if it does, please let me know about the helpful review. You can see the attached video and photos.

This is not an engineered product! Let me start off by saying that it was not designed There is a small amount of fiddling needed to get it to work correctly
3/5

The installation process was problematic and I should not have had to go through it. In total, it took 45 minutes to put in the new piece after removing the old one in 30 seconds. There is some flex near the bottom clips of the factory unit because it is made up of two pieces Flexibility is not an issue with this one-piece design. I found that the bottom 'clip' was off by just millimeters, but it was enough to prevent it from fitting correctly. Two scenarios are described below After about 2 minutes of driving, if I removed the bottom clip from its retainer 'cradle/bar', the top clips lined up, but it wasn't 'in' 100%. It would then 'unclip' at the top after just a few minutes. carved out a few millimeters from the bottom clip using a hacksaw blade (no handle), and it lowered it just enough so that the top clips could line up. The top clips then went in smoothly (even though I have not driven it since then). As I took it for the 'pull test', it passed. It is as snug as factory, partly because the components of the center console have it wedged into place. The only way to get it out is with a pry tool. The top clips would be hot glued to keep it in place if it was to pop out. In fact, I think you might be able to break off the bottom tabs and it might fit that way, but I wouldn't try that way yet. One of the bottom tabs almost broke off during the project. I don't remember what happened when I put it on. This got 3 stars from me due to the fact that I got it working without hassle.

The 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU automatic has an automatic transmission The fitting is good, but it needs to be modified
3/5

As far as I am concerned, this product has a pretty useful function. The net is a bit thinner than OEM, but it does replace a piece of plastic with a net. However, it isn't perfect. It looks pretty close to OEM. It would have been nice if you had been given the small plastic clips, but you will have to cut two from the factory trim piece when you remove it. The little plastic clips are very small and not easy to get off so be careful not to break them. To make it fit, I had to increase the length by a few millimeters. Since I have heard of others with similar issues, you are probably going to have to do the same.

1) You'll need to trim a little plastic off of the back clips by the bottom of the chassis. The plastic hooks at the bottom of this case are supposed to slip over a metal piece on your gaming The new OEM part looks similar, but it's more or less the same as the old OEM product. On the backside of this piece, there were a couple of additional ridges between the hook part and the It allowed it to sit down over those metal pieces properly and allowed me to push it all the way down where the OEM used to be. I finished trimming them with a sharp knife to make them sit well over the ridges on each side. 1) The OEM part has a slight arc, while this panel does For the lines to line up correctly and not stick out on the top corners, I heated up the plastic with a small torch and then cut it using the laser. It is important to apply heat right along the edges of where the switches are going to be installed and along the flat parts. Be careful to bend the plastic as you heat it. That works for both sizes. It takes a little bit of work to make it look good, but it is doable.

It's an awful fit! This one disappoints me so much! I cut and filed the Ouicksell wires, I built custom wire harnesses from scratch, painted them, and then installed them
3/5

(Former Avionics Tech) made the wire harnesses. You couldn't ask for a worse fit! The top is sagging in the middle, and the clasps on each side are poor. To fix it, I had to screw it into each side of the I should take note of this. Installation of aftermarket panels by dry fit. This is not as good as other Daystar products. We have filled all the panel switches on the window colums. Because there was no place for the upper CB, the only alternative was down below. Definitely disappointed with the results, I had expected more!.
