Sorry, can't do that. This is for 99 and up Models built in 2006 and newer must use a hydraulic chain tensioner and a late style pump The following models are excluded from the 2006 FXD line.
As part of my kit, I received a pump and a cam Of course the plate is there. As well as 4 new long bolts, assembly lube, locktite 242 and the oil, the pump received 4 new long bolts, o-rings, and blue locktite. A ring. The parts I bought (but not limited to) included hydro tensioners, sprocket bolt kit, cam cover gasket, bearing retaining plate, cam plate screws, cams, and bearings. I reused the sprockets, spacers, I didn't anticipate was having to grind out some support fins inside my cam plate cover, which I did not find too difficult.
Currently, about 2000 miles have passed since I installed it on my 2004 Softail Deuce (FXSTDI) with the big twin cam 1500 engine. Installation was easy and I have not encountered problems yet.
There is no difference in price between the two. Please make sure that the cam plate you order is for the motor you own. As a commercial truck driver, I spend a lot of time on the road. This is the S&W I bought The cam plate/oil pump combo I purchased was for 2006 and older and did not fit my 2008 Dyna. After 3 months of riding the car, I took the time to install and discovered that the cam plate was for older models. The 583 S&P cam plate I purchased was not the only one I purchased I have applied fuel pack to my cans and tappers and could not be happier with the results. I wish you all the best on your rides

I guess what I can say is it's S&M The procedure can be done by someone who is mechanically inclined, can watch YouTube videos, and knows how to Upon further examination, I found that the old girl has a bit more wind behind her, especially with the new S&P 500. The 509 cams are 509 S. You'll never have to worry about it again if you just do it. This is not a freebie, I paid for it.
I love this kit, it has a block off plate, oil pump screws, loctite, assembly lube, cam bearing support plate and a block off screw for my model engine. I am impressed with how quick the seller shipped it all, as well as how easily everything installed! Compared to other prices I found, this one was the best deal!.
