Is it compatible with the Melling M72 oil pump?

I haven't reassembled the motor yet, so I don't know. It has the same appearance as the previous one, with the exception of a larger open screen. Ensure that the pan's bottom is not bowed.

Is it possible to use the deep oil pan with this method?

The Melling oil pump performed admirably

Installed on a 1988 Dodge B250 with a 318 cubic inch engine. There isn't much that can go wrong with the pickup tube, so it's a fairly straightforward item. It screwed into the pump's well and did what it was supposed to do once it was in place. oil should be picked up If you're going to install one of these, I recommend changing the rear main seal (it's not easy to get those old rope seals out). I did a separate review of some seal remover tools to give you an idea of what worked for me. ).
