Is this airtight and capable of being used on a pressurized air tank?

They don't have a gasket or an o ring, so I don't believe they are.

I'm aware that this company sells a variety of caps in various colors. Is it possible to change the color of the cap with this order?

I believe the part number is different. The only one with Amazon Prime is the silver cap.

Is this made of stainless steel or mild steel?

Is there a breather on this, or is there a problem with pressurization due to heat?

There isn't a break in this one. I used it on an expansion tank I built, with the addition of an overflow hose. Anyone who knows how to weld should be able to do so without difficulty. The product is of excellent quality.

These appeal to me. I've already used this product three times and even ground one out of an older fuel cell and reused it without any warping. I don't like how the threads feel rough when turning, but that's due to the threads' size. On them, there are no rough edges or flaws. It's perfect because it has a rubber gasket seal, and the handle is easy to grip and turn.

I used this as a new fill port for my engine, and it worked well, but the cap and flange threads are different sizes, so there is a lot of side to side play when not fully tightened. Cross-threading is a major concern for me.

For an axle build, this is a must-have

Filling through the vent hole is 10 times easier. The bung itself is nicely welded and thick enough to avoid warping. This is something I added to a 9" that I narrowed, but it's obviously universal.
