Yes, but the ride is rough and you feel every vibration, but the minr still works regardless. I went through like five of them at checkers and it still works.
The Daystar and Rockauto websites are both where I got the proper part number before purchasing from Amazon, though I cannot tell for sure
In brief, yes. My 1981 CJ5 T176 4 speed manual transmission fit this part.
A 1989 CJ7 with T176 and Dana 300 was fitted with mine. I changed my factory mount because it had pretty much worn out and compressed. Compared with what it probably was at its original size, the Daystar Mount is roughly the same size. I didn't change the drive shaft angle at either end.

I replaced the rubber transmission mount on my YJ with this one because they tend to fail and I wanted to prevent further damage. The vibrations are stronger at idle, but they are more noticeable during acceleration. For strength and longevity, a small price is to be paid. In comparison to the stock skid, which has circular holes rather than slots, the only gripe I had was that the whole holes are slotted, so if you don't line them up exactly it can be a bit difficult to get the transfer case skid back up. All it took was a bit more time to put the skid plate back on and pry it back out. I probably wouldn't have had to worry about it as much if I had a buddy to help me.
My only reason for giving it three stars is because it fixed my problem for the time being, although it wasn't a direct match. caused me to move 2 inches backward, and therefore I would hit my shifter into my center console every second, fourth, and reverse shift, and this caused the engine to sound really rough while driving. My sense was that some grinding of parts was going on without necessity.
Installation is easy and the quality is excellent.
I liked that it was easier to put on than a stock one and did what I needed it to do.
Can this be installed on the xj transmission mount because it has four bolts on the bottom.
Fittings that are of good quality and are direct.
Item arrived as described, in great condition, on time, and just as I wanted it. Thank you very much.
