I rebuilt it myself. The timing cover kit and cam bolt and pin springs with proper timing set fit as if they were factory parts. Do the mopar heavy duty valve springs, as well, to ensure valve float will not occur. I found this to sound like a dragster at idle. The engine has been strengthened and torque has been added.
Cam is excellent for long-term use in an engine with high mileage. It makes great power at the recommended revs. The cam won't pull at dead idle like the stock cam, but it has great pull once you pass With the original Carter BBD, I also run it without the stepper motor plugged in. I'll have to say that my valve guide isn't working very well with the original valve train, and the stock push rods are too short for me. It might be helpful to have a 050 longer push rod.
