There was a mismatch between the socket and plug
3/5

The update is The 1st generation Honda Insight will fit Amazon doesn't have anything to do with it in 2006. It has a dead element as well as the 2nd one I bought. There are zero resistances, no conductances, full voltage, and absolutely no current, as shown in this kill-cell diagram Photo of a watt meter* * Original As difficult as it may be to illustrate, the socket and plug don't match up due to the angular shape. It's possible for me to trim away the rubber with a knife, but I'm afraid that I'd bend something internally and possibly crack or weaken it if I forced it in place. There is no indication of whether the plug is to blame or the element itself. It is likely that the manufacturer has several different suppliers for parts, and either something has been swapped around or one of them did not meet specifications. Apart from that, I have not had the chance to test it, so I cannot comment.

It is surprising how easy it is When your hand is down there in the general vicinity, it is near impossible to visually see where this installs
5/5

As expected, I installed it from above, and did not remove the bumper cover, but just the air dam that attaches to the bumper cover, which I found to be The system appears to be leak free and this gave me the opportunity to add fresh antifreeze and properly burp it.

The impression is not good
3/5

The order was placed on February 11th, and it was supposed to arrive on February The fact that it was so affordable was one of the reasons why There was not an informational flyer with the order, and the items did not arrive until the 17th over a week past the prime date! There was no instruction book. What tools are needed? It would be great if you could tell me! Although I am familiar with most vehicles, it was challenging for me, but it would be a little challenging They are not a company I would consider buying from.

There is a 16-degree temperature outside, but my car starts right away
5/5

Installing this unit in the freeze block was done by a mechanic. It has been only two weeks since I first got it, but we experienced a week when the temperature was below 16 degrees, and the car immediately started. As I walked closer to the Honda, I noticed that all four feet of snow on the hood had melted away. I am amazed by how well this.

I was looking for block heaters for my '06 Ridgeline and my wife's '09 Civic DX, and sure enough, it works just fine! Long story short, I was looking for one for my Ridgeline and one for my wife's Based on Zerostart's website, it states that the Civic is to be seen at a dealer
5/5

During my visit to the dealer, I received a quote of The hell with it. went to the Honda parts website, and it turns out that the plug that is removed from the block where this block heater replaces is the same one that is included in both the Civic and the Ridgeline models, so I figured, what the heck, let's just do this. It works flawlessly. Bought two, and sure enough it works just as well.

Short story, don't buy Honda OEM, this works just as well and at a fraction of the cost.
