pleased with my purchase! There was a sense of harmony between the old and the new
3/5

pleased with my purchase! There was no difference between the old and new ones (plenty of cord to reach the bumper), but I hope it will last. I put this A 1997 Ford F-350 powered by a 3L engine We went from 4 stars to 1 since our last update on 250! A year after it was installed in my truck, and it's burned out, this product has not held up as long as it should have. The one you should purchase is of better quality.

I have no complaints about it, but the cord is a little longer than original
5/5

I have no complaints about it, but the cord is a little longer than original. The coolant in the area near your oil filter may be heated by this element, so drain your coolant as directed. It is likely that coolant will run out, so make sure you have a pan handy.

A few years ago I bought a 1994 Ford F250 diesel pickup
5/5

With my 1994 Ford F 250 diesel pickup, I discovered that it already had a block heater In the end, it tripped the breakers in the house when I plugged it in. When I purchased this replacement, I only had to install the heater element itself, and it corrected Even with the bitterly cold winter we've had, it has kept the block warm enough for it to start on one cycle of the glow plugs, and we're not blowing fuses. Due to the fact that I only used the heating element, I now have a spare cord. Overall, I would say that the unit I bought was of quality.

It seems well made and looks good
4/5

I installed the block heater today, ran the truck to warm it up and increase coolant levels. I plugged it in and left it parked all day 1006AM After 00 pm, I checked the temperature gauge, and it showed that the block was In the winter we will see how it holds up original Ford block heater that was in the truck I plugged in every winter since I bought it in 2003. It had been in the truck since 1998. See how it holds up I never plug in block heater with a cold engine always hot on return.

Getting rid of the old one was easy, and I plan to do it every year with this garbage
3/5

The block heater I replaced my original with has been working fine. Previous types seemed to work better, but I do not know what was used before this one. As a result, I am only rating it three because it takes me much longer to get the engine warm enough to start since my glow plugs have been damaged. Even though it doesn't work right now, it does work if you just add three lines It takes 4 hours for the body to warm up. ****Update on original post*** Got burned out 30 days after expiration of warranty, so they should be just fine for another The next one won't be coming my way. My wife and I are going to try Kat's.

No point in investing time and money in this
3/5

During the first three days, it would not heat the block. I bought my second Zero Stat from an online parts store, since I bought the first from a local parts store. It is not worth the time and money to waste it again. Whether you want OEM, Ford, or the 1500 Watt Block Heater that you can order from Using my truck block at temperatures ranging from 20 to 25 degrees during the day and 0 to 15 degrees at night, my vehicle is operating at three quarters of its operating temperature, and it is American.

I was way too early in burning out
3/5

A few days after the warranty expired, my fan blew out, so now I have to drain my coolant to replace it. It is not a brand I will be purchasing from in the future.

I find it very helpful
5/5

I've had a 97 Ford F250 7 for seven years and it made all the difference in the world. The number of cases is three during the winter. The truck does not want to start if it gets below 40*. I live in GA, so the cold gets to the truck. My cords are the perfect length and I have not experienced any issues.
