Questions & Answers

This module was installed on a K1500 5 running a 98 OS. A few hours later, the device was plugged in and checked. I woke up to a temperature of around 100 degrees. That would be correct? I expected it to be ?

It is possible to take several factors into account when looking at how warm your engine would be, and you can also consider where you measured the temperature. As the block heater is not designed to warm up the engine to operating temperatures, but rather to work as a starting heater, it warms the engine enough for it to start. Having said that, 100 degrees is a pretty good temperature to start with. This amount is sufficient to get started easily.

Where can I get a guarantee that this part will work with ?

In this case, 350cid) Drain antifreeze from the right side of the engine block (passenger side) before installing it on the right side of the starter

Could this be used for a 2012 Suzuki SX4 Sportback?

The application bar that is linked to this item indicates it has the ID I cannot use it with your Suzuki, part number 0057. A freeze plug specifically sized for the engine block is used to access the fluid in the engine block. There is a garage section within your Amazon or Prime account, which will store the information for your cars. In the event you are looking for a specific part or accessory, the search engine will inform you as to whether or not the item will fit your vehicle. If Kat's heat pad or a heating circulator pump are universal, then they are likely to work.

Do you know how to install it? Are there any plans to use it on small cars?

To replace a freeze plug you take it out of the engine and put this one in instead. This fits any car that has a heater with the same size freeze plug as the freeze plug on the heater. Should state what cars it fits in the instructions.

I found it to be a good value As an initial point, I'd like to emphasize that you cannot simply plug them in and leave them over night
5/5

Before I realized what I had done, I burned up two. I don't think so, at least not However, if you live where temperatures stay below zero for a long time, they may not be suitable. Other than that, they seem to work well. In this part of the country, the temperatures get just cold enough for you to want a little warm-up for your diesel, but not too cold for it to be necessary all night.
If you are looking for a price-performance engine heater, this is a good choice.

Winter should be easier to start if this occurs
5/5

Even though the installation of the product was straightforward and straightforward, flushing the engine and removing the plug from the block took more time than we anticipated. The block heater I purchased is exactly what I was looking for. A timer on my garage's receptacle has been installed, so it's automated.

I am very satisfied with this product
5/5

Recently, we used this to start a tractor from International 464 that would not start due to bitter cold. The installation is very easy, just remove the freeze plug, insert it, screw it in, then fill up the The whole process took a little over a minute. It took about 5 hours for the coolant and block to warm up.

The fit is great and there are no leaks
5/5

The installation of this unit in my 84 Chevy 1 Ton 44 diesel was pretty straightforward. There was still slack in the cord to enable it to go through the grille safely, even with hot or moving parts around. It is well worth the price and the time it takes.

The exact same as I'm sure that they were also used on other GM vehicles and vehicles of the same generation
5/5

I'm sure they were identical to the genuine General Motors block heaters that came on GM C/K and 88-99 models. In addition, it will cost you less than you think! For those of you who live in cold climates, these block heaters are a great option.

Worked great for me
5/5

A 350 Chevrolet truck of mine has one in it for 4 years, and it is still working well. The system starts up right away even if there are fewer than zero days remaining. The block heater would not have been able to do that before. In winter, there's no need to worry. It's nice to know that.

The torque wrench should be used, and the appropriate torque should be applied If you follow the instructions and clean the hole in the block well, you'll be good to go
5/5

The plug fits well, the torque specs provided worked out, there have been no leaks to date, the plug length is adequate, and the plug cover looks good.
