I can fit it on my 09 Forester (non-turbo). These model years are very similar to one another.
It is on the block near the oil pan, beneath the driver's side. Located at the top of the screen is a large plug recessed into a hex. It looks like a t45 bit, don't you think? The exhaust is not too hard to drop on these, which is what I did to gain access to mine.

According to the manufacturer, this part didn't fit the Subaru Impreza 2018. As the body protruded too far, it hit the casting on the engine, which made the plug unfit.
