Questions & Answers

Currently, I am using a Coleman a/c, but I'm switching to a Dometic Brisk As well as the Dometic single zone thermostat, I bought a wireless router. What are the chances that this will convert?

With a single zone stat, it may not be necessary for you to have a control board. I don't think I'll need it, even though it probably works.

The 3308448 is this the replacement part for it. Does 004 exist?

Thanks for reaching out to us at Dometic. In short, yes. Seeing as how you will also need the CCC2 thermostat, 3314082, the project requires two parts. We can be reached at customersupportcenter@dometic if you need more information about the program. Please visit www.com.

Can you tell me if the long screws are included?

Thanks for reaching out to us at Dometic. A set of eight inch screws is included. We can be reached at customersupportcenter@dometic if you need more information about the program. Please visit www.com.

What is the mfg number for Dometic penguin ?

Thanks for reaching out to us at Dometic. The answer is yes. We can be reached at customersupportcenter@dometic if you need more information about the program. Please visit www.com.

Despite its name, this package is not complete
3/5

When I recently ordered a new Dometic air conditioner for my enclosed RV, I expected it to be complete. In the end, I had to order this multi-zone kit, then I had to buy a thermostat that did not include the cable needed for In order to have the complete package, what do I need next? How do you make a complete package, and what would you need to make it.

It is impossible to reach customer support
3/5

In my case, neither the thermostat nor the controller worked. The correct voltage and connections have been established. We contacted Dometic and they informed us that they do not do consumer support. Our only option is to take the trailer somewhere or have new parts shipped to see what the problems are. I'd rate them zero stars if it were.

In upgrading an IR thermostat, you might need a new electronic control board
5/5

I upgraded an IR thermostat from Duotherm. My first impression of the wiring of the control board was that it appeared very daunting but, as I removed the old one, I took pictures. I had difficulties getting the dipswitch to work at first, but Dometic provided me with the correct settings and now it works perfectly. My hope is that it will last for 15 years as did the first one.

As expected, it works perfectly well The problem is as follows
3/5

There are a number of reasons why this controller was not designed for usage with a Brisk 15k B59516 wall thermostat. If you wish to mount an attachment, you are free to do so. In spite of this, it works. Does anyone have an idea on how to route wires in this box since it is way too large for the opening between the air return and the output duct hole on the ceiling template?.

A new 4 button model is needed because my old one had worn out
4/5

A new 4 button model is needed because my old one had worn out. I needed to replace both the wall mounted thermostat and the controller board on each air conditioner for that to happen. Temperature sensors that come with control boards are also an important component. It worked seamlessly with my existing furnace when I purchased new controller boards. This is a 2000 HR Endeavor 36 foot yacht.

The retrofit process is straightforward

The old infrared remote system in my 2006 Cougar has been replaced. The one I'm using now is more reliable than the last one.

I don't know what to do! It doesn't come with instructions, nor does Dometic provide them for those who wish to do it themselves
4/5

Replacing old remote control systems is not a problem with this unit.

Worked as expected but had a problem
3/5

I purchased this to replace a thermostat on my RV. There were no obvious differences among them, but there were differences in the connections. There was no way to connect it so it would.
