My local auto parts store sells it for sixteen dollars. When regular Amazon sellers are unavailable, the listing defaults to another seller, who may or may not be selling for outrageous prices.

I'd switched to synthetic motor oil in place of the original. That initially helped, but only for a short time. After 70000 miles of battling hard shifting, I switched to Amsoil Synchromesh Transmission Fluid and WOW, what a difference! It's simply incredible! This stuff is very effective.
I don't live in a particularly cold region of the country - Temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit are about as cold as I can expect throughout the year - On some cold winter mornings, however, I'd find that the 1-quart OEM fluid was sufficient. When the transmission was cold, the 2 shift was sluggish, and the transmission was generally noisier. Noises and shifting difficulties have completely vanished since switching to Amsoil. I've put nearly 90K miles on the Jeep with Amsoil Synchromesh, and I'd recommend it in any situation where it's appropriate!.
For a Honda vehicle, this is an excellent product.
The bag appeared to be in good condition, but the bottle had been shattered.
When I shift, I notice a difference.
The quality of the product is excellent. If you buy directly from Amsoil, however, the price is half as much. For $42, I received two quarts plus shipping. Shipping takes two days.
In my daily driven 1997 Acura Integra, I use only Amsoil products. I replaced the factory fluid at 100K miles, drove it for ten thousand miles before needing to replace my clutch, and then replaced it with this fluid. The shifting quality is excellent, and I'm confident that my transmission is well protected from the rough treatment it receives from me. For 2021, there will be a lot of daily driving, autocross, and track days.
