When I googled "right side coolant leak," the first result was coolant flange. So I decided to give it a shot. From the top, this part is hidden beneath the air intake and difficult to see. However, once you've removed the air intake box, it'll be right there. It comes apart with two bolts, three hose clamps, and a sensor clip. At the very least, 150 people were saved. 00 instead of having it diagnosed and repaired at a VW shop. This part is excellent; it went in without a hitch, took about an hour to complete, and was simple to install.
Great product, and it appeared to be of higher quality than the original. I couldn't figure out why the original part kept leaking despite the fact that there were no visible cracks or damage. This product was installed in place of the old one, and it immediately stopped the coolant leak. I've had it installed for a few months and have had no problems with it. It came with a rubber gasket. The original part didn't appear to have a good chanal built in to hold the gasket, which could cause it to shift and leak, but this product has one that perfectly fits the rubber gasket for easy installation.
Audi parts are available on Amazon. The best, cheapest, and most straightforward repair I've ever encountered. It's interesting to note that the original part cracked beneath the O-ring. ring, and only under duress did it leak- It was difficult to find the leak because of this. Well, 180k miles is a lot to ask of a plastic part, and while this part was a perfect replacement, the bought-in part was not. VW was served by the combined sensor. It was a smooth transition back.
A perfect match for a Volkswagen Golf 1 from the year 2001. 8t. It has the o- symbol on it. For the part that bolts to the engine, an o-ring has already been inserted. The thermostat requires a ring. It will take some time to see how good of a quality it is, but it appears to be well made.
How about this coolant distribution pipe from URO parts?! On a 2001 Audi 1, it worked perfectly. 8t. It came with the Oring and was every bit as sturdy as the factory unit it replaced. There are cast aluminum sets available if you have a little more money to spend.
It was an exact match.
Trying to locate the leak drove me insane for a week. The part was in excellent condition and included a new o-ring. a ring to place under the sensor.
