Selected User Reviews For R-1234yf Hose To Vacuum Pump Adapter (R1234YF)
The following item description is incorrect: 1/2" ACME female with LH threads X 1/4" SAE female, according to the description. The fittings I received are 1/2 inch ACME male left hand thread X 1/2 inch ACME female right hand thread, not 1/2 inch ACME male left hand thread X 1/2 inch ACME female right hand thread. They are manufactured by FJC and have the part number 6829. These fittings are designed to connect a 1/2 inch ACME right hand thread R134a male fitting, such as those found on some vacuum pumps, to a 1/2 inch ACME left hand thread R1234yf female fitting, which is typically a manifold gauge set hose. They are incompatible with the standard SAE 1/4 inch flare male fitting found on a large number of vacuum pumps (including mine). If you're trying to convert an R134a vacuum pump to use with R1234yf, these fittings will come in handy. They will not work to convert an R12, R22, R410, or other vacuum pump to an R1234yf vacuum pump. HTH, br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br.
The female end of the adapter was screwed into the male port of my vacuum pump, and the male end was screwed into the yellow r1234yf refrigerant hose fitting.
This is a single part with a 1/4 Flare Female inlet and a 1/2 SAE Left Hand Thread outlet, as stated in the item listing. The item description is incorrect: br>br> br>"Includes adapters for connecting a R12 or R134a refrigerant tank to a R1234YF refrigerant tankbr> Female 1 / 2" ACME with LH threads X female 1 / 4" SAE X male 1 / 2" ACME.
Not at all what was described. I won't be attending. 0 stars. Not at all what was described. Vacuum pump to r134a hose connection will not work. It's the wrong size. In addition, the threads are reversible.
This adapter was required to allow me to use my 134a vacuum pump with a 1234yf ac system.
I ordered and received a two-way radio antenna.
