On my PX8 Pitch Black Dodge Challenger, I had a paint chip the size of a pencil eraser all the way to the primer. The color of this paint repair pen was a perfect match, and you can hardly tell where the repair was made. br>br>For the first coat of black paint, I used the pen mode. The majority of the hole was filled with just a small dab of pressure. Later, I used the paint brush to apply a second coat. If the chip is small, the paint brush is difficult to use, but it still gets the job done. br>br>However, the clearcoat was much more difficult to apply, and it won't look as good if you don't sand/buff it afterwards. Because it's thick and difficult to fix later, you'll want to do it in one smooth stroke. Despite the fact that I didn't practice before hand, I pretty much botched the clearcoat application. br>br>However, even from a distance of 1 foot, the repair looks great. You can only tell if the clear isn't smooth by feeling it or observing how lumpy my clearcoating application was from a distance of 3 inches. In the photos, you can see what I'm talking about. However, because the colors match and the paint reflects light, you can only tell up close from certain angles. Totally worthwhile. br>br>.
From normal highway driving, I had a large gash in my paint as well as a few minor chips. This touch-up paint pen was ideal; it perfectly matched the factory black spot on and was simple to use. use. However, for pointers, make sure to watch how-to videos on YouTube. 👍🏿.
When I removed my Jeep's hard top one time, it scratched the rear passenger door, so I needed something to repair it. I tried this Mopar touch-up paint after hearing about it on a Jeep forum. br>br>It looks fantastic. It's nearly impossible to tell that it's been scratched and touched up from a distance of even six or seven feet. This also has a clear coat, so it should blend in nicely over time. Let's see how things turn out. br>br>However, it makes it appear nearly new and untouched in that location, and I no longer have to growl at my folly every time I approach from the passenger seat.
My first thought was that USPS had misplaced my mailed item, but it was eventually delivered to me. The seller had nothing to do with it. br>I would buy from this seller again because the product was exactly as described. br>In terms of usability. Some people believe that it is a learning curve. I, on the other hand, had no problems. br>Excellent value for money. Who knows, maybe a quart of auto paint costs the same.
This is fantastic if you don't listen to the radio. It appears to be well-made and durable. If you listen to the radio, the antenna aspect is a pain. The signal fades in and out, accompanied by random background static. I wanted to return it, but it's impossible to remove it once it's been installed. Because I was afraid of the screw cracking inside the hole, I'm stuck with it now. a weak radio signal.
It's the right shade, and I used it to cover a couple of deep scratches. Instead of using the pen, I chose to use the brush. The pen feature is essentially useless.
My Chrysler 300C is a perfect match. Very happy with how easy it was to apply and how it turned out.
It arrived much sooner than I had anticipated. It was a perfect match in terms of color. The "pen" function was problematic for me, as it was for others. Aside from that, I would suggest this product.
