There is a $60 fee to diagnose an engine Evaporation System Check Engine Code on Toyota cars
5/5

My local dealer tried to charge me a diagnostic fee for my check engine light after some negotiation. Paying was not an option for me. It is here that I purchased both of the last Toyotas we have owned and where we also have all of our service performed. I think customer loyalty is a good idea. Rather than spending money on an expensive mechanic, I drove to the autopart store where they scanned my check engine light and looked up the code for me, telling me what the most common problem Gas cap that is poorly sealed or is loose. The customer service representative told me to order it on Amazon because it was OEM and probably would Upon receiving the cap, they said to come back and have them look at them again, then they would clear the codes. I was able to scan the code and clear it after installing this cap. Now that it has been two months, there are no problems. There are Toyota dealers all over the country. As I shake my head, I am not pleased.

My gas cap is working as expected now that I have a genuine part
5/5

I was having issues with my gas cap and it didn't seem to be fixed by the part, however it is an original product. Neither this item nor the delivery have been the subject of complaints. If you are like me, a pickle, then shipping it would be good value. If you cannot find the car part locally, you might want to check your local Toyota dealership parts department because you may be able to save a few dollars.

I was very pleased with this product
5/5

It is very I like the way it sits. I like the way it fits. I used this cap to replace the factory cap that stopped closing on my car. It looks and acts exactly the same as the original. The check engine light is off on my car. Having fun is all I need to do.

I compared the original to this one and couldn't tell the difference
5/5

Okay, so that's a plus. Due to the gas cap being loose, I kept seeing random error messages. Despite having a newer one, the one on my 2016 Toyota was already faulty. There was a crack in the rubber seal Leaving the door open to let in fresh air.

A quality product like it just came out of the factory
5/5

Make sure you are getting the original manufacturer's product. Don't be fooled by your local tech or dealer. You need to replace the gas cap every 5 years or every 100k miles - make sure you buy OEM gas caps.

The labeling on the cap, however, is printed as E00 rather than The difference is not a deal breaker, but it may cause someone a bit of confusion.
