My first reaction was to be happy when I saw the box! A great new look for the cap as well as the tether! It wasn't until a few days later that my engine light came on. After I thought about it for a while, I realized that I probably shouldn't have clicked it once to close it fully. My next step was to click on close the gas cap. I then reset the code. Then, I close the fuel door and hear it unclick itself as it began to close. Strange. . . maybe I should move the tether a little bit to the right might make a difference. My engine code appeared a few days later and I thought it was a good thing! This problem was due to the mouse not staying clicked. I went to Oreilly's, spent about 4 dollars less, and my problem was resolved.

Several lights came on at the same time on my car, including the check engine, traction control, and “VSC Off” units. I decided to Google what the problem might be. Can you help? Get a new cap for your gas cylinder! This was worth a try for $15 (it was going to cost $300 to have the dealer diagnose it! It took three days in the car before I was able to turn off all the lights after receiving the order on a Saturday. This issue has now been resolved!
