ACDelco GM Original Equipment GT276 Fuel Tank Filler Cap

Although I tighten it each time I fill up, as of late the ratcheting mechanism appeared to have worn and I didn't do a good job. There is a difference between the cap that comes with the car and this one. There was an o- in the original An earring. A neoprene gasket has been used for this replacement. A cure for the trouble code will result if it works. Amazon is the second place where I've bought a cap. If the first cap had been worn, it would not have fit even closer. There seems to be no need to replace GM with another. In the long run, we'll have to see if this works out.
