There seems to be metal in them. It is not a good choice for a big vehicle to have ceramic. There are supposed to be two versions, one "heavy duty" and one "standard".

There was a problem with one of the holes during welding, had to sand that out with a rat tail file, and the shoes I received didn't match the ones pictured

No, these will not fit dodge cummins 2500 dana 70HD or DT

There is no warranty on these components for Dana 70HD or Dana 80 dodge cummins 2500. Apparently these are for a 3500 Cummins dually built on the Dana 80HD full floating axle.
