Neither position will affect the fitment of this part. It will fit either position of your vehicle, rear or front.

What size does it need to be to fit ?

The picture of the wheel sensor needed on the back of a Liberty sport that Autozone shows for the rear of a 2012 Liberty looks just like this part. Therefore, I would say yes, and it works for either side on the back. It is about 95% sure that this answer is right! It can also be easily repaired.

How do I know if this will ?

The rear of the vehicle will be able to fit it.

It seems to work well
5/5

A 2015 JK rubicon with a 3 inch lift and 33" tires. I stopped by O'Reilly auto parts store to read my ABS code (free service). They told me that it was a "rear antilock brake module. ". Since I had no idea if it was left or right, I ordered two I watched a YouTube video to clarify the Worked hard to accomplish our goals. We replaced "right rear" first (the picture above is the old one), and of course the ABS light still came on! Therefore, I replaced the "left rear", and on my way down the driveway, my ABS lights went We went for a long drive, put the car in 4wd, and They appear robust as OEM parts. I can't speak of their longevity, but I hope it'll last a while. Then it will be a lot less expensive. The installation is easy, you only need a few tools. I would buy again if the price is right.

The installation and performance of this part were simple, but diagnosing it was a challenge
5/5

The part fixed my Jeep JK Wrangler rear wheel ABS dashboard warning light. Taking into account both costs, the ten dollar price was 1/10 of what the dealer would have charged, as well as less than half of what the local "discount" auto parts store would have charged. Whether you're a doer or a non-doer If you are a do-it-yourselfer, you can easily install the part instead of taking a trip to a professional. Often the most difficult part of performing this kind of repair is determining what's wrong. The faulty wheel speed sensor that is causing the issue, as well as the faulty wheel. In the OBD scan code U1417, the left side speed was unknown, but the front/rear speeds or even the wheel speed sensors were not isolated as the problem. There's a sense of expectation from the computer, like it wants you to bring the car in for a checkup This is a highly priced job with only enough information to scare without providing any treatment guidance. When you turn the ignition switch to run three times on the Jeep, or when you connect an OBD reader like the ELM327, you can get OBD codes "free". As a result, when I had ABS problems, the OBD codes could not provide any meaningful information. The only solution I found was to use an ELM327 and an app called AlfaOBD, which even in the free version enables scanning for ABS module codes. As I drove, the app graphed my sensor speed signals, and this helped to identify which wheel was defective. In the paid version of another app called OBD Jscan, sensors can also be read. Fortunately, Dorman's aftermarket parts are of a decent quality. There are now so many Chinese products on the market that it can be challenging to differentiate between them.

I am delighted with the results! It turns out that the ABS and stabilitrack lights are on in my 2013 Jeep JKU
5/5

Harbor Freight was able to sell me an engine and ABS code reader for 130 dollars. When the scanner was plugged into the obd2 port, it displayed speed sensor or tone ring for the left rear wheel. It took less than 2 days for Amazon to deliver this sensor to me. I spent about five minutes to install it and approximately fifty feet as I moved forward the lights in the ABS and stabilrack turned on. This is an awesome product.

The problem with my JK has been resolved
5/5

On my Jeep JK, the ABS sensor stopped working after traveling 300 miles from home. There is nothing worse than having the Jeep's ABS jerk on every curve as you drive! I'm glad I got home in time to order The next day, I was back in the business I was in before. The whole plug harness and bolt can be changed with just one bolt. The tires I've been running for 4 months and 7,000 miles have proven to be durable, and they have solved my problem as of yet.

There is a problem with the This was just last week when I had the time to install them
3/5

Although I needed to replace one sensor, I purchased two so I could have them both changed at the same time. One sensor came with an. Another screw needed to be replaced, but the replacement screw did not. I also discovered that one of the sensors in my Jeep was defective, which led to it going into limp mode after locking up the brakes. I put the old sensor back in and then it worked fine. I would like a replacement screw and sensor. One works fine, while the other does not.

This 2016 Jeep Wrangler fits the bill
5/5

In the past week or so, the wheel speed sensors on our Jeep Wranglers stopped working, so he keeps a few on hand. He discovered from the information he got from the code reader that this was a common problem with Jeep He said he was lucky that the two on the rear went bad and not the ones up front, since the rear sensors can be replaced fairly easily.

The ABS, brakes, and Traction Control lights are now working
5/5

The ABS, brakes, and Traction Control lights are now working. Take an 8mm socket, remove the wheels and prop the red clips all the way up to remove the connector, and you're done! No problem. You are good to go now. Have not yet set my dash off with a Christmas tree glow because it has cleared my ABS codes! I would like to thank you once again.

The problem has been resolved

It was a stupid ABS light that I fixed right away. The original one must be removed first before installing the new After a prolonged search, I decided to replace the four ABS sensors in my wife's Jeep. In an incredible twist of fate, the last one that was having problems was actually the one that had problems. Period.
