It takes about 30 minutes to install after you remove the front tire, you can bolt this up and it works great

This a/c unit in my 2014 Silverado was replaced this summer

In my 2014 Silverado, this unit was replaced in less than 20 minutes, with nary a hitch. It turns out that it was a faulty ABS sensor and that the wheel bearing assembly also needed to be replaced. The price for the job was $550 if they could do it that day. They're suckers. In North Conway, NH, there is a business called Crest Autoworld. If you don't avoid them, you will lose a lot of money. It is easier to give the sensor 5 stars if it had lasted beyond a month. Since it has only been operational for a month, I must save that rating for an item that has a longer lifespan.
