An athletic car requires a stylish set of pads! A friend of mine who is a mechanic in Kodiak, AK recommended these paired with EBC USR7409 series sport slotted rotors, stock brake calipers, and Michelin Super Sport tires for my 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX TR
We upgraded the brake pads and rotors from stock. There is nothing I can do to make this better. They are extremely responsive (my Scooby is my "play car", and I drive it aggressively). I have had them running for 2000 miles now, and I'm extremely satisfied. Here are some things to keep in mind The pads did not come with any additional hardware or plates. informed by my friend that these are really not necessary and are in most cases included to reduce noise, but that they may introduce a "spongier" feeling. The manufacturer of the caliper should always know how to handle this). The brake dust on these guys is quite high, and you could say I noticed it more since I painted my calipers pink, and it was also the first thousand miles on the vehicle. *Note noise level is higher than stock equipment. I am not using any metal plates in the calipers so if you install any, the noise level may change.
