In the process of bending the wire bale on the new lid, the wires became too flexible and could not be bent so tightly that brake fluid would not leak. As far as the original lid goes, it was reused. I didn't realize how well the new gasket worked until after it was installed.

I had an eighth of an inch play when I used the breaks and fluid just poured out when I shut the caliper. It was necessary for me to use my original clamp to hold the lights down. You should be aware that this kit does not contain a black gasket.

I did not find the product to fit as expected. The product is of poor quality As the package was being shipped, the chrome was flaking.
