Power Stop K1383 Front and Rear Z23 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Kit

The cost of this brake and disk set is much less expensive than I would pay for a set at either Advanced Autoparts or Autozone, and these places rarely have ceramic brake pads. Having used the floor for 1 year and all problems or signs of excessive wear have been eliminated. As far as I know, the rotors are zinc coated so there is no rust on them. There is a thin layer of zinc removed where the brake pad meets the rotor, but since you are driving your car manually for the most part, it won't rust again in that region. It's definitely worth it and we will be purchasing the same set again when this set eventually wears.

These were purchased for my V6 mustang in 2014, and I am very pleased with them. My old pair of glasses I just replaced were even more warped that the ones I had just taken off. I went to replace them at the end of last year, but realized they too were warped after installation. I thought I had just received a faulty set, so I ordered a new set, and I was initially satisfied with them. My new rotors are much less powerful than the ones I got for my 2014 car. These days, I believe they aren't made like they used to be. It has now been a few months since I installed these, and I am almost certain that these are also now warped and spongy, and I will be replacing them immediately with different rotors and pads.

I had a problem with the metal clips on the front brake pads. They broke very easily and left the brake pads useless. It is very likely that they will fall off while driving down the road if they don't come off when they are installed. Having to go to a local shop to purchase pads for the rotors was a necessity. My recommendation for this combo deal would be to stay away from it. Due to the fact that it is simply a rotor with a few poorly made That was a very disappointing experience for me.

It is the second time I have purchased this kind. Both a Ford Flex 2013 and a Ford Mustang 2007 are equipped with them. It has great breaking power, does not make any noise or vibrate. Any person with decent mechanical skills or anyone who has installed breaks before should be able to handle the installation. Don't forget to follow the instructions for burning in. The product is excellent, and I will purchase it again.

Imagine putting parts in a box and shaking it a thousand In the aftermath, I should see a similar message. It is still tricky to collect the scattered pieces of lubricant after cleaning. All the rotors "seem" to be in one piece, but this may not be the case. Sadly, I need to replace my OEM brakes as soon as possible - It would have made more sense to return them if I had the option to do so. Items in a box that are broken should not mean that they are in a box that is broken! Please help. P. To get more lubricant, I will need to go to the store.

I had to get a $1500 upgrade about 2 years ago. It took me a couple of hours to have the brakes resurfaced I cannot say enough how not happy I was when I saw the new calipers, rotors, and shoes. Within 3 weeks of installing the new brakes, the old ones started to squeak. But I never received satisfaction from the company that performed the repairs. With help from my nephew, I found this Power Stop kit in the spring when I began looking for a replacement for the old brakes. I made the decision to get this kit since my sibling has the same kit installed on his 07 GT. My rims have very little brake dust, and the difference between my brakes is incredible, great stopping power, no squeaks, and great stopping power. In all, we spent about 3 hours on this installation, but it was well worth the time. After you have installed the pads, follow the pad brake in procedure and you will be very satisfied. In addition to providing better stopping performance, they look great on the car as well. The price was well worth it.

Other There is a possibility that not every kit comes with the missing hardware. The process of cleaning off the old stuff is a safe and common one. When I used my angle grinder with a wire wheel, they were good to go. A new hardware set can be purchased at the auto parts store or here for less than twenty dollars. You can save a lot of money if you buy this. Please bear in mind that with this kit for 2005 and later Mustangs, you will need a special tool to retract the rear calipers, as they need to be rotated clockwise to retract the rear calipers.

My son's 2007 Mustang V6 Convertible has been installed with this Rotor kit. Consequently, I was charged $200 by my local shop to compensate for the four rotors that were installed. The price was well worth it! Not only do they stop well, but they also look great! Our stock calipers were painted a red color using caliper paint, and they look great now.

On my 2015 Toyota Tundra 4 wheel drive, I have Power Stop rotors as well, and they perform great, and they do not rust!!! I would like to thank Tod The city of San Diego, California.
