You're actually adding a really nice feature to it. It is extremely easy and you won't have to spend a lot of money. As I measured out where I wanted each to be, I marked it only with a pencil, backed the car up on ramps (a little easier to get a drill in there), and then installed the nuts Using my drilled holes, I drilled into the skirts and car, and then screwed them in by hand. (I would recommend that you finish installing them by hand. If you screw them in too tight, they will bend out of shape. There is a relatively thin plastic covering them) They almost look as if they have a "punch" This is on the backside where you (can) In the last photo you can see that I ignored them because I had spacers (seen in the last photo) and I wanted them to be symmetrical. My rear wheels are almost all the way out. I can probably get another 1/4" or so out of the back It is a 2018 Hyundai Elantra with these wheels and you could take out about 1/4" more if you wanted. The front part of the wheel is tucked under a little so it is more modest in appearance. Thanks for reading! I hope it helps you.

You might buy a barbecue plate from Walmart for a weekend party if you want cheap plastic. The ones I had on my car were not up to my standards, so I refused to use them. There is no point in returning items if a refund won't be given. Buy quality parts if you want to save your money.
