You'll need screws to install it, yes.
Specifically, it fits 2021 perfectly. Companies that do not update new models when new years come around will not be accounted for.
There is a compatibility between them. A special mounting system has been designed for the TR.
Mopar's system consists of 3 rails, one at the front and one at each side. There are only four tie-down points on each side. The items are facing down, so you must move them forward in order to use them.

They only offer 4 tie down loops, and there are no additional ones available separately. This is three rails, a front and two side rails, but only four tie down loops come with it. The third rail is for tie down loops, but if you put 2 on each side rail, what is its purpose?.
It's a must if you want to strap something to the bed of your truck or if you plan on putting things in the bed. There is no information about how to install spray-in bed liners in the install instructions, so I may have rated it a 4 star instead of a 5. Unless you have a spray in bed liner (factory or not) I would assume this would be easier to install. There is a hole for the mounting bolts in my factory bed liner, but they don't tell you that you still need to scrape some out or else the bolts won't go in all the way. With a flathead screwdriver, I scraped out a small amount further of the bedliner material in each hole and I used the air compressor to blow them out so that the residue won't clog them up and cause the bolt to get stuck halfway into them. I tried to remove one of the bolts before I broke out the compressor and one snapped when I tried to remove it. The excitement of removing a broken bolt or screw is always great! It should also be OK to use canned air if a compressor isn't available. I used my drill/driver after making sure the holes were scraped out all the way and were blown out completely (with a hammer) to get it through without a problem. I had a somewhat difficult time installing it, but if you scrape and blow out the holes beforehand, you should have no problems. That would be great if it was clearly stated in bold print somewhere by mopar. Despite these few downsides, though, I would recommend them to you if you intend to use them like I do to attach things to things in your.
According to the other comments, the total number of bolts required to complete the installation is 14. In the back of all three rails are four holes to connect to the sides of the bed. However, on the left and right side of all 3 rails, another bolt needs to be screwed into the tailgate section to make them work. There is only one bolt missing from the parts kit. When you take out the 2 pieces that plug into the tailgate hole, there are only 12 bolts left. There is also something to note that if your truck bed has already been painted with a liner then installation could be a bit more difficult. Instructions mention no additional work on your end but the 2 side caps that go into the tailgate will not fit as they get sprayed in. There may be a need to clean out the side walls a bit so the bed rails can be installed. My review will be updated if the seller gets back to me regarding the missing bolts. It is very difficult for me to give a good review for an incomplete kit, even though the bed rails themselves are very sturdy.
This mounting bolt set only includes 12 of the 14 needed. The bar has 3 bars, but there are only four ties It REALLY needs 2 loops per bar, or 6 loops per With no tie down points, a front bar without a front bar is a pointless feature!.
The OEM rail system is excellent, and with Amazon prime points I saved half off the price. In the end, I did get all the hardware, but the bed liner spray had entered the screw holes, making them really tight and breaking one of the bolts and stripping a few from other ones. Towards the end of the list, we recommend It turned out that I had to go to Home Depot to buy M6 x 1 bolts. The following numbers represent 0 and A hex head with 8 studs. If you want to use the stock screws, I suggest the 8-inch. I used a power drill with a bit of pressure and it broke through the liner without issue. After cleaning out the threads on the 8 heads with a power drill, use the provided hardware to affix them.
In the end, I feel as if I lost 1/3 of the system's value. This has been communicated to the seller. I will look for more bolts. Hopefully they will get back to me as soon as possible. Up to date The company responded with two screws after I sent my message. As you can see, these are hex bolts and are not However, they were able to accomplish their goal. We are increasing the star rating to 4. There seems to be no way to exchange them, and I received non-matching screws. Not 5 stars, because it sounds like I am not the only person getting just 12 screws. The new Jeep Gladiator I purchased will have mopar rails installed. In terms of details, I'm a little OCD and I want the product to be just as good as it was when it left the factory.
It was a good product for me, and I recognize what other people have said as well. Having installed the rails without a problem, I found it possible to move the four supplied cleats to other rails through a factory-supplied mechanism The rails were provided with a gap at one end. As a Mopar customer, I was sorry to see Mopar cut the bolts short and go on the cheap. I would also like to see more Mopar cleats available for purchase. Previous to my current truck, a Titan XD, I had a superior system.
I found the installation process to be simple and quick. I'm now able to hold down the bed cover I bought a few weeks ago. The trail rail system allowed me to place my tie downs in the right places so that I could transport an active beehive, which was held in place nicely. There is OEM quality on this. I'm Rudy
