Thanks for your interest in our 5's, however we do not offer any bed rail caps at this time. There is only one Standard 6" bed, not an 8" bed. The length of the bed is 5" and 8' long.
I own a 2004 1500 Silverado Extended Cab and my rear bumper was for the short bed. I love how these look and they sound awesome It has so far been a great experience. It seems to me that they give you measurements to ensure you get the right size.
I am 6'3" and they fit me well. The bed is 5 feet long
The answer is yes, in my opinion. On my 2001 GMC Serra I have these lights. The extension can be used. The bed is 6 feet wide

It stops short of the back window of the truck by about an inch. It was best to buy the solid ones to prevent the stale holes from overlapping. My plan is to cut out the stake holes myself in the future when I am ready to use them. Buy the solid ones and you'll be glad you did.
There's nothing like a 2001 GMC Bushwacker to knock out a job. The look of this is better than spray-in liners. It fits perfectly and looks great. OEM appears to be the case. The stake holes in the cap are not necessary. I would hate to be able to remove this cap, as it is covered in three strips of 3M tape. This was the first thing I put on my truck after waiting 18 years. I'm amazed at how well it looks. This truck is still in like new condition and has low mileage. Adding that to the look is a great idea. Don't forget to be careful when you put Make sure you follow the instructions exactly. When the weather is warm, you should do this. It will take just a few minutes for the cap to warm up in the sun. After putting the cap in place, put small pieces of blue tape in approximately seven places to mark the final location of the cap "before" you remove By pulling the tape in the correct direction, you will be sure that it is in the correct place at all times. If you don't mind putting a Bushwacker trademark on your truck, this is a good quality product. The large Bushwacker label on the set would set right next to the LS emblem on my truck, so I returned it.
While it was a bit of a hassle to install, it fit well and covered the dents on my truck's top rails very well. In my opinion, it is a little pricey for a plastic package with two pieces.
Bed rails like these are of the highest quality. This is very easy to put on, but I would recommend using two people just to hold it down in the rear. A set of bed rails gives the truck a factory appearance. It had a lot of scratches on the rails at the top where I slid things in and out a lot, especially at the springs, but most of the scratches are now almost gone. Any day would be a good day for me to buy again.
