I had an old switch that would not reset when turning left, so a driver ran out in front of me, thinking I was going to turn. I was able to easily remove the top hood. THE WIRING PLUG SHOULD BE REMOVED. Use 2 flat-head screwdrivers behind the tabs in order to release the switch. I KNOW THIS IS TRULY TARGEROUS. PLEASE LET ME TAKE MY TIME. Connect the cable to the new switch, making sure that it is fully seated. A firm push will activate the switch when you line it up and place it firmly. BY CLICKING ON THE SIDE TABS, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE TAB SEATING. I have found that the switch works really well and is extremely reliable. The sound it makes when it returns to center is audible. This is a great product to recommend to anyone with a bad switch. You might also want to make sure you receive the right unit there are a few variations for other vehicles. The Saturn VUE I own is a 2006 model. ON THE INTERNET, THERE ARE A FEW VIDEOS TO HELP YOU INSTALL IT. I am Jim.
Several years ago, when my turn signal switch broke, this unit was much cheaper than I had previously considered them to be. The problem is that I have This was the one I got after I had rigged the first one to work, but it failed. Installs in no time at all. Here is the ONE issue I have The AUTO-ID feature is supposed to be supported A headlight function was supposed to be available for my 2003 Saturn L300, but it wasn't. Although it would have been nice to have brights at this price, I am glad I have them again and I no longer need to use hand signals to turn when it's below freezing outside.
Do not buy. The 2006 Saturn Vue is the vehicle I purchased this for. My brights would go on when I signaled but not when I didn't. I even woke up to find my brights were on and my battery had died. Investing a little extra in a better quality signal switch is absolutely worth it. My mistakes can be used as a learning experience.
I am using the Equinox 2006 computer. My only complaint is that there is nothing to complain about. More than 200 thousand miles were covered by the original. I guess this will hopefully be the final step for the old car. A couple of months down the road and the lights are still on.
The car only lasted 30 days after it was installed. We're happy to say that it comes with a one-year warranty, and that the seller is honoring that guarantee! It's been a pleasure working with.
My search for a solution has ended. I love how it fits.
Simple installation and quick set up.
