Is it possible to buy a set of driver and passenger modules?

As of now, we do not have access to the passenger switch. Thank you, Chelsea*678- A 389-word summary

What are the reasons for the price difference of over $100 between this part and ?

Josh, it's not a direct order from a Chrysler Jeep dealer which is an OEM dealer. At the end of the day, you're paying for the Auto Dealer's name! Each time you buy parts from any GM Chrysler Buick dealer, ship GM Chrysler Buick et cetera. As this is an after market part, it can be purchased. Alternatively, their products can also be made in China, Mexico, Indonesia, or My light switch was going on and off because the lights were no longer working. As soon as the green lights go off, the rest of the window control stops working. I've had the new switch in my Jeep for over a year now and it's well worth considering for the great price! The Dealer no longer carries it. *br>Moreover, I can't get it from him! Please accept my appreciation for your time

There are manual windows in my house. Is there a way I can switch to auto mode using this?

There are no differences in the wire harnesses. To have different ones would be too expensive, so your doors are already wired for the electrical system. It's going to be necessary to equip your doors with motors, switches, and interior You may want to pull away a door panel and take a closer look if you're nervous. There are parts in junk yards that can be cobbled together.

What are the odds that this switch will work on a 1995 Chrystler New Yorker?

There is no way to use this on

I would like to see you stop complaining and just buy the damn Owners of Jeep Cherokee XJ units typically fall into three categories with regard to repair work
5/5

There is a problem with the part, so they send it to be If a part breaks, they usually have to fix it themselves (which generally There is a break in the part and no part is repaired. Our Cherokee owners tend to either be frugal or refuse to replace their Jeep since they love the darn thing too much to part with it! Basically, the passenger window motor in my 2001 Cherokee kept getting slower and slower until eventually it would not go up at all (on a freezing day, no less). Furthermore, I observed that my passenger window switch was no longer lit, which indicated that electricity wasn't getting over there in some way, shape or form. After scouring the XJ forums, I discovered the problem either lay with the window motor on the driver's side or the lock out switch on the passenger side was faulty, causing the juice to leak out of I immediately opted to take the cheapest route, which was finding a passenger window regulator/motor on eBay, only $25 new, with free shipping. The problem has not been resolved even after replacing it. Through some online research, I found out that by removing a kick panel, removing a paperclip, and using some jerry rigging, I could bypass the lockout switch and restore power to my passenger side (n. b. You can find instructions online, on youtube, or by looking for it when you are online. I will not give you instructions on how to do this out of liability reasons. Please unhook the battery before attempting the paperclip trick, or you will end up electrocuted). I looked into this and found it was the lock out switch located on the driver's side.

I had no other option but to replace my master power window switch system. As soon as I called the dealer about this part, they wanted over $100 for it, so I looked on Amazon and I managed to score a brand new replacement unit. Despite the fact that I will agree with other reviewers that the build quality isn't as good as the Jeep original, the fact is that it works and that's all that matters to me. All the switches operate like the originals, and the LED lights on the switches are brighter than the stock unit. I was excited to see my windows fully operate again after half the cost of a Jeep original part. If you have never removed the panel, I recommend watching a couple videos on YouTube (Dorman makes the best one) as they will show you how to do it. Additionally, you may want to purchase the body panel trim removal tool from your local auto parts store to make your life easier. You will save your hands as well as some panel clips. Hope you have a good chance! There are probably a lot of other XJ owners out there who are experiencing or have experienced the same situation as I did with this new switch from the switch doctor and this new switch will not let you down. I apologize for my lengthy narrative about how we identified and fixed our Cherokee. You need to stop complaining and get that part now!.

The product is covered by a lifetime warranty
5/5

Because I am not a big fan of participation awards, I seldom bother writing reviews with regard to things unless they are truly exceptional. It would be helpful for me to note that I purchased this master switch in 2016 for my 1998 Cherokee XJ. Since I was unable to use it after 5 years of regular use it is vital that you understand this. As I inquired about the seller's lifetime warranty through Amazon, I was shocked to receive a response the next day from the seller letting me know he would fully honor it. My typical experience with companies in warranty issues would involve what is the problem, did I do that? But what about the companies I've worked with on warranty issues? You may have experienced similar things, as I am sure you have. SwitchDoctor differs from other programs in this respect. The company affirmed my new address and sent it off to me after I volunteered my reasons in my first contact. Upon receiving it today, I vowed never to purchase any switches from anyone else, unless absolutely necessary. It is highly recommended that you use.

Replace the 2000 XJ in a quick, simple, and inexpensive manner
5/5

I'm ecstatic. It seems that the power windows and door locks are once again working. I used this on my 2000 XJ with no problems. There was a problem with the old door locking system. It tended to lock occasionally but rarely unlocked (lock switch was broken)
All power windows were able to be rolled up and down from the driver's seat, but not from any of the other (In the old unit, the safety lockout switch had failed, preventing power from being supplied to other windows even when the lockout switch was off. )
In this case, both issues were resolved. In that case, how much would it cost? Those are some great deals. I found the lights to be quite good and not excessively bright like some other reviewers had complained. I do not like that the buttons are stiff. However, they aren't terrible.

There is more to looks than meets the eye
3/5

As a replacement for my old switch panel on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport, I bought this switch to handle the problem with the driver's side window switch. A good package was received with no damage to the switch panel above. I only installed the SwitchDoctor panel after removing the door panel, unplugging the old switch panel, removing the old switch panel from the door panel, and then reconnecting it. As soon as I looked at the front doors, I noticed that the door unlock/lock switch did not work on the driver's side door, nor did it lower the window on the passenger side Due to the fact that the switch panel can only be installed one way, installing it incorrectly is impossible. We will refund the full price of this switch when you return it in its original packaging.

I had 7730 miles on my car and the switches broke after six months
3/5

Initially I was happy with this switch panel because the control issues I had with the stock switch panel were eliminated. In just 6 months and 7730 miles, the switch doctor replacement broke at the driver window switch after I replaced the stock panel at 185200 miles. As a result, there was no control of the driver's window since the plastic switch itself broke. As luck would have it, I was looking through a window at the time. The window lock button had fallen off a month earlier, but I had put it back on and told myself not to use that While I was not concerned about the window locks breaking, I was extremely concerned about the control switches themselves breaking after such a short period of time. I was dissatisfied with this product, but ordering another of the same brand on Prime was my only option because I needed a replacement quickly I am curious to see if the new one is as effective as the old one.

In the event that your control panel fails, this is the perfect I installed it in my 98 XJ Classic that had electrical issues all around
5/5

Two wire harnesses were broken and had broken wires in each, so I have removed and repaired both of them. Amazon sells the replacement repair kit which I also installed. As soon as I got to the driver control panel, I saw folks disassembling them to reset the solder joints, so I did. It was a colossal failure. Plastic buttons were broken in my hands quite a bit. Additionally, I had also seen the procedure to bypass the lock button on the control pad, but did not utilize it. I bought this part, installed it in no time, and all of my windows are now working 100% again, and the window lock button works as well! My sincere thanks go out to you!.
