Almost everything is correct, aside from one overlooked detail. There's no way I can give it anything less than There is no comparison to the quality of this product. Hardware is included, so you don't need to buy any. It's a good idea to follow instructions. This product fits and finishes perfectly. Its only downside is that it doesn't look exactly like what the picture shows. Neither a dimmer nor a switch is present. Your radio dimmer does not need to be wired to your mania The sensor is not working. During the night, this is a crazy bright light. It would be greatly appreciated if the manufacturer can see this comment and offer a better switch panel, which is separate from the radio dimmer, with a wire coming out to hook up to the radio dimmer.
Product is of very good quality. Instruction is clear and the images are accurate. They are made with high quality components that can be replaced. Installation was performed on a Jeep Wrangler JL 2020 using a knockout to the left of the master cylinder to go through the firewall and into the dash. The removal of the dash went smoothly. It took some time to figure out the path into the dash, but it was fine. No cutting or drilling was required. For power, run wires via wire harness to firewall, then connect the PDC fuse at auxiliary PDC. As an accessory, this fuse is powered on when the car is running and turns off when it is not running. I found the wire that connected to power for connecting too short! Instead of using the pre-drilled hole to exit the wiring harness, the wire harness exited through a drilled opening The opening has been made. It was easy to install, easy to follow directions, and very clean looking. I bought this based on recommendations from a few online forums, and the people were absolutely right. The JT or JL Jeep user looking to add switches to his/her dashboard will definitely be satisfied with this product. It looks as close to factory as possible when installed and fits perfectly in the spot to which the aux switches are located. A couple extra hands are helpful, but not necessary, but it took about an hour to install the system with simple tools.
I prefer this version even more than the Mopar version. There's no need to flash it at the dealer and it is more versatile.
I really like it. I like it better than the Mopar one because it costs less and you get more switches for the same price. In addition to that, the dealer does not need to flash the computer. I had only one issue-I have a 2 liter in my Jeep. I have a 0 Turbo and the coolant bottle was slightly in the way, but I added about a 1/4 inch spacer under the mount and it worked well. Very pleased with it so far, although I haven't hooked up any accessories.
In a nutshell, After installing it for five hours, I had to restart my computer. I had difficulty getting around my firewall on my 2021 gladiator, except that I had to find a path inside it. There is no mention of the programming function in the directions. It is possible to change the speed of the flashing lights. I wonder if there is anything else that is bad for it other than not using it as a winch. My assumption is that the problem is with the amperage. I don't care about that, it's amazing.
Installing it is not as easy, but it has all the hardware needed to give it a professional touch. The price is better than MOPA's and cheaper as well.
