Questions & Answers
Can this be installed on a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo S?
You'll be able to use it. If you can confirm the part number to us, that would be great
I hope your day is going well so far. Is it a good fit for the 2009 Volkswagen Jetta Trendline? Would you please accept my thanks?
The body of many VW parts are the same, but it is important that the socket is the same. Check that it is for America because some are marked after the serial number or part the letter CH and they are for the same car but with the steering wheel on the right and it doesn't work.
Where can I find instructions on how to install it?
Basically it works as soon as it is plugged in

Do not buy this Chinese replacement auto part, as there may be dangerous defects
I tested this for about a week and it worked perfectly. As a result, the headlights continued to operate even when the switch was It would not let me turn on my headlights for no apparent reason This is a very dangerous situation. Since it is this bad, I don't want to take the chance of it shorting out and starting a fire. Therefore I will not have lights until I can get a new one. If you run Amazon, you might want to consider removing this button.

Get rid of your old switch, but keep it in case anything happens
It was excellent in the past when I owned a Genuine Euro switch for my Mk4. So on this switch, I disabled the DRL (a very common modification), and this allows you to turn on the amber lights and headlights independently of one another. I could not get this to It was initially just the headlights that were off in the off position, but once the side markers were turned on (middle position) everything came Though not as intended, it is what it is. Due to my cautious nature, I actually kept the old switch in my glove box since this one was new.

In fact, the red backlighting is present and it does indeed work well
As an alternative, you can turn the notch to the right or left of the notch and just leave it there. It's not a good idea to drive around with your mirror defroster on as so many If you continually use this function, it won't be there to help you.

There is no problem with it
There is no problem with this switch. It's kind of true. This was in a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. - The position at the bottom (passenger side) works as expected - the position at the top (driver's mirror) doesn't work when it is at the bottom In the sample we receive, the switch must be held twisted, just past the stop before it will engage, however, once the switch has engaged, the joystick can be operated (holding it in the new contact point) until the switch engages. such cheap plastics, I expect the joystick to snap off every time it is used like this. While it can get an automobile through a door, it's probably not good for you if you're keeping the vehicle.

A 2004 Jetta that is ready to use right out of the box
With the COVID lockdown, the only thing I can do is work on In the USA, there are two modes of operation for headlight switches. You can use this switch to turn on and off the on and driving lights when you shift into gear. It has options such as turning off the parking lights It's perfect for driving in fog or with a low-light bar. Because you can drive with minimal lights, that's great! However, I was slightly disappointed I was not able to burn more time in trying to do the job in less than 5 minutes. If I ever have to replace a switch again, I will in the future look the switch up on Amazon. It's a bummer that the USA version is so bad. There is no comparison to the Euro.

There is no problem with it
We contacted insurance and everyone pointed the finger at everyone else but themselves, so we found this product on Amazon and viola, it fixed it. Not worth the hassle to purchase an original part. Does it work the same as the original? It's a little flimsy and light, but it fits perfectly, plugs in and works, so for 10 bucks, it's not a bad deal at all.

It is important to not leave the center switch on, as it stands for heated mirrors
An infrared heater is attached to the side mirror switch. Take down the door panel (3 screws under the door handle inside, 1 screw for the door latch and pop out the mirror switch with your flat-head screwdriver.
