For holding the eyelet, slide the solid end of the lanyard into the eyelet and flip the switch to the off position. The D-clip needs to be cut Clip your life vest to your wrist or ring to your life vest. It is important to note that if the eyelet release from the kill switch, the kill switch lever will flip to the on position, killing the engine. If the eyelet does not release, repeat steps 1-3 to reset the switch and it should still stop the engine. There is no reason to settle for one of the other options, especially one that is only 36 inches long. There is a statement on the package that it contains "foreign and domestic components".
Due to the quality of this one made by Quiksilver, I bought it. Despite how short it seems it is 54" from tip to tip (yes, I measured it).
It isn't. The length of this lanyard is 36", the same length as an ordinary Mercury. Don't buy this if you need one longer than that!.
The power output is five horsepower. I found that it didn't fit my 2016 Mercury 2. It looks very well made, but the fit wasn't right. It has a 5-hp fourstroke engine. There was no way for me to loop the button over.
is not 54 inches long as it was advertised. In fact, it is 36 inches long. If you are looking for a longer one, do not buy this. There may be a mix of lengths in their inventory.
I liked it a lot. I cannot believe these things are still in production.
product, hard to believe that they still have it in stock.
