I have had problems with this hazard switch. It works well and restores the turn signals to working state but I have had a couple issues. The first problem with this app is the incorrect button color this one is lighter than the stock color. It's not a big deal but it looks out of place on the app. When I reused my original button, it just fell off Take a picture. Also, I wish they wouldn't have used an LED to illuminate the switch when all the rest of the car has There is something like a spotlight above the radio, it is bright as hell and looks out of place, especially given its size This can be seen especially on the "ETS" button of the dimmer. In addition, I would like to point out that the button-- Please press - Feel is much stiffer than before. However, this could be due to the fact that it is a new product, which will gradually "break in". In spite of that, the program works well and does what it should Yes, the "clicker" has a softer tone and I like it a lot. The OEM price is good even though they're not as expensive as they should be - but if I need another one, I'll probably go OEM but this one is right at the price. All OEM ones are the same.
The right blinker was not working and I purchased this 4 years ago to fix the issue. I noticed that the blinkers stopped blinking when it was cold out, around 35 degrees, so I had to tap a switch until it warmed up to make the blinkers work. This was not a big deal, as they work just fine in the spring, summer, and fall. For the price, this is an excellent product!.
With this fix, GM cars will no longer have a common problem. My previous Grand Am had a similar switch and I had to replace it both times. When you blinkers fail to work, you should push the hazard warning switch several times to see if the blinkers begin to work again (temporarily is the most probable scenario). This problem is caused by the hazard warning switch. I had the problem with both my Grand Ams just over 100,000 miles in. I am going to tell you how you can fix it for free. It's easy to find websites that show you how to replace the hazardous switch in the Grand AM. You can search for "Grand AM Hazard switch replacement. ". The switch I received from amazon and installed in ten minutes (ok, it was fifteen minutes since one of the screws fell and I had to find it on the floor of the car for five minutes) after I received it I was able to remove the old switch and install As a result, everything is functioning normally.
My 2002 Pontiac Grand Am is making a blinking noise so I ordered this to stop it. The noise was not completely quieted, but the issue was improved. I had this part fail a little over a week ago, so my blinkers no longer functioned. I think it lasted about a year and a half. As a result, I am giving it three stars. Since it did indeed fix my dissatisfaction temporarily (and for a low price) I can't really complain, but I had to buy another one after a year to replace this one.
We replaced the old switch with this one and it was no problem. The only con is the length. There is a slight difference between the OEM sound and this one. It only differs slightly from the original pitch. Though, depending on your hearing, you might not even notice a difference. Is there a performance difference as well as the price? I lucked out! It would be an easy decision for me to repurchase and replace my switch with this one again. This has been my go-to email program for about a year now. Prior to installation, I watched a video online to become familiar with the installation process. There were no problems during the There were no problems during the.
It took me a while to crimp and finagle the plug in order to get it in because the pins were trying to separate while I was inserting them. I found it to work well once I'd entered it. A side note The clicker noise has gone down to a much more reasonable This is a gently pulsating sound instead of an OEM blinker noise. There are just cheap assemblies.
I couldn't be happier with this unit, as it is exactly the same unit that was installed at the factory. The item was shipped to me in pristine packaging, arrived on time and in perfect condition and cost me just After getting my turn signals to work again since reinstalling this new part, it took me about thirty minutes to disassemble and reassemble the dash.
There was an issue with the turn signals working intermittently, and it was resolved this way. The copy is an exact replica, and it was easily installed by myself rather than the dealer. It is a part that the dealer was asking for more than It would cost over $300 to replace and was difficult to accomplish. This time the turn signals work again as they should, and I'm very happy with the results. Turn signals on Grand Am have a very common problem, and this is what is causing the problem.
