When I turned the key on my 2002 Volkswagen Beetle, the turn signals no longer worked. My hazard switch on the nose of my car had to be replaced, and it fixed the problem! Fix is absolutely instantaneous and easy to do! The world is a good place for me.
Many people online recommend that the next step to try is to replace the switch after checking the light bulbs and fuses. Lucky for me, I found a cheap and easy replacement, and the device has now worked smoothly since then. There is a less pronounced blinker noise, but it does not affect the blinker's working.
Switching to this mode was better than switching to the original mode. The price is excellent.
Replaced the original to correct erratic behavior of the turn signals. There was a main difference in that the maker's logo was removed from the OEM part.
Great! Works great on my 2000 beetle, just had to swap the button facia, well the Passat button facia fits perfectly, however I wanted it to match and I was able to pop it right off. There is no reason why the beetle ones are so much more expensive.
I was able to replace everything except for the front cover which was not exactly the same. It would have been OK with me had I not found it was very easy to remove the front cover from the original switch and install it on the new one. We now have a "perfect" solution to the problem. Additionally, it fixed the intermittent problem with the turn signals. It is my pleasure to be of service.
I am sure that this is a fine part, however, I am giving it one star because this is not the right part for my Essentially, it's a replacement for the factory part, except it has different features.
