The factory switch was all I needed to get my fog lights to All you had to do was plug it You will probably only need 2 minutes to complete this. The two whole minutes are due to the fact that I had to get my fat fingers into the empty hole in the dash in order to remove the pigtail cable. That was all there was to.
It works perfectly as a switch for my preamplifier The fog lights on my Toyota Tacoma are wired. There is an Amber LED in the switch panel on the bottom half of the dash, not a blue LED like the others. My Tacoma 2013's top switch panel had a dummy switch attached, so I unhooked it, snipped the wiring with this OEM switch, punched the button, and presto, fog lights came on (after I installed the relay and lights). About five minutes were required for installation.
The price is a little high, but it Quality manufactured in a factory. It is between 15 and 20 If you had cut the price by 20%, you would've got a solid 5.
A switch is pushed to turn on the unit when it is plugged into the factory wiring. There is no need to be cost-conscious when looking at this part. It is a factory part, what else can you expect? If you find it expensive you don't shop much for.
I ordered a fog light switch for my Toyota Tacoma, and it worked just fine.
I'm very pleased with it. The product is perfect, but it's a little too pricey. I am very pleased with the experience.
Product of high quality.
I can only describe it as a genuine Toyota product.
