It was a blue glow when I got it at first I originally got it in a strange green color that didn't go with the paint of the dash, but as it has aged (I've had it for about a year now), the color has warmed and fits fine now. Quite the adventure!
Search for Garage in the upper right corner. At the top of the page there is a box with this label. Here you can enter your vehicle's information. You will now be able to see on the left hand side of the screen if a given item will be appropriate for your vehicle when you click on it.
My Silverado Classic 2007 had a done light control issue that I had trouble with and this part fixed that problem and enabled me to drive again. I'm not sure about the running lights though.
To the best of my knowledge. The fit and function were good.

There is a difference in finishing between the OEM switchgear and this one. It is better than the one it replaces that was broken. I feel the switches are cheap, and the dimming control goes from off to full in about a third of the travel on the remote. The switches are a very dark, shiny black, and do not match the original ones that came with It takes a little more than five minutes to set up. It is very well suited to the opening.
In the course of 15 minutes, I installed it even though I am 64 years old.
My 07 classic has an old body style and I installed this in it. I finished the task in less than five minutes and it fit perfectly, worked perfectly, and cost me less than $15. However, I am not too concerned about the blackness of the plastic since my truck is a work truck and I don't really care if it were I got it for a good price and it works well.
It was easy to install, and fixed my flaky problem, when the lights wouldn't come on unless I tapped on the About 10 minutes after I had it replaced, I had it back.
It comes with a plug and play installation. It has been fixed for me. This is a great.
The old one must be unplugged first so the new one can be plugged in. That dash is never going to go dark again! Initially worried that there were a few shorts, but a Chevy blog suggested this piece which seems to be much simpler to fix and probably cheaper as well.
