Leaks in these sensors are what cause them to fail. When the fluid comes in contact with the contacts, they are destroyed. Taking a closer look at the connection will allow you to see if the wire needs to The one I changed was
I got an F This harness was adapted to fit into the original wiring harness plug of the 250 (2003). There may be differences between your vehicle and mine.
The switch on my 02 F250 screws into the master cylinder on engine side at an angle, and mounted on the engine side. I'm not sure if the same holds true for the 08 F150. I was able to see what I was doing, and there was an attached wiring harness. YouTube has videos on replacement which you might find helpful.
However, I reused my fuse link since it would fit.

This company has provided me with a few components for my Excursion. Assembly 26 to operate the cruise control system. As many as 175 others wanted the same amount. It's the hockey of bulls. This is the assembly for controlling the master cylinder. There was still a fix installed for the original problem. There was no wonder fires broke out. The grease is all over this thing. Even if we don't take anything else away from it, it was a sad joke. In addition to a label that read "If this fails, please replace with part number blah blah. ", the fuse had burned beyond recognition. It was really quick to install. Took about 7 minutes to do. Had to go out really fast. It was noted that the on-off light was fully illuminated, as well as the cruise light. I was so pleased with how it turned out. The parts were outstanding, and the prices were equally outstanding. I felt like the kid who replaced his first head gasket and it all went together the first time. We at Standard Motor Products are the places you should turn to for anything in the automotive industry. The sale of this property almost does not appeal to me any longer. The work and products you have produced are outstanding, thanks to all of you.
By far, Amazon offered the best pricing and quickest delivery. The cruise control issue on my 2004 Ford Freestar van has been fixed. It was unnecessary to store the wiring harness for the Freestar, so I threw it away, but the kit that comes with it and includes the wiring harness seems to be cheaper and more widely available than a fluid pressure switch alone. The product could be easily installed by a single person as a 7/8-inch wrench was all that was required to remove and install it. On the internet you can find lots of advice on how to install yourself. It is always a good idea to pressure wash the master assembly or use Brakleen before opening any brake fittings or caps on a keeper car. The only thing you need to keep in mind is to avoid allowing air to enter the fluid system, otherwise you will have It's not hard to avoid that, just make sure you have all the things you need within reach and work as quickly as you can. There is very little risk of an air bubble forming in the reservoir if it stays filled to near capacity. slightly to be safe, then drained it off until the "full" line appeared by removing the new switch just for a couple seconds (holding it almost exactly in place so I could do it quickly). In the Freestar, the wiper deck cowl is not required to be removed, but it is very difficult to remove. The air cleaner box was the only part I removed. It's been 6 weeks since I drove 3,000 miles. The same as before. If there were a way to give 6 stars, I would do it. You don't need to ask me if it fits your Ford "whatever. ". There is only one Ford I own, the Freestar, so I only know it will fit. My sincere thanks go out to.
I was able to use this part for my 1997 Ford F150 The sixth letter is l6. Cruise stopped working and I found the original cruise disconnect switch was wet and was seeping brake fluid. I ordered this one from Amazon and it fit. However cruise still wasn't working and after further research I found there was a blown 2 amp fuse inline right before the brake switch connector. Luckily, the cruise works great now since the fuse was replaced. Apparently the inline fuse is from a recall on Fords as a stop gap fix to prevent trucks from catching fire due to the defective original cruise disconnect switch that mounts on the front of the brake master cylinder. Thanks for stopping by, I hope your day is going well.
I have determined that it is NOT this part that is causing my Ford Pickup to leak brake fluid (but the old part does). I'll come back and update this review when I get my cruise control working again, since this fits perfectly, doesn't leak, and the electrical plug matches my original wire harness just fine. Thank you, AU

I was able to take the van on a ride with the cruise control working wonderfully after I installed it in about three minutes. The week has been spent at work. Angry at being let down.
Our team youtubed it and put it online He realized this was the part he was looking for. As soon as he put it on, he noticed the difference It is wonderful that the cruise control works so well. The product is perfect! I'm so happy with it!.
An E350 econoline van was purchased in 2003 for my family. The Amazon customer service rep tried to tell me it wouldn't work, but after seeing a few other reviews of vans like this, I felt comfortable trying it out. I was surprised to find out that the actual part was different from what I had but the harness was. I swapped the two in less than 5 minutes without using the harness included with the package. As a result of my test drive, the cruise control is back in working order. There are apparently several vehicles that use the same part. was told it would cost at least $120 just to diagnose the issue by a mechanic shop. It seemed smarter to purchase the internal switch first, then if it didn't work, I'd purchase some external Fortunately, only this part needed replacing, so I've saved over 100 dollars without including what I would have had to pay. It will be interesting to see if this.
The stock one I had blew its 15amp fuse and nearly burnt through the brake fluid reservoir before I bought this one. The 1995 Ford F150 . 302 was powered by a turbo diesel. Part arrived quickly and seems well made. There was a factory recall years ago on this, but my old truck never heard anything about it. It is easy to.
