Ford Explorer SportTrac was experiencing a problem with its cruise control. Our effort to fix the issue failed after we replaced the switches (they were pretty bad and would need replacing anyway) and that did not work. While getting the tools to replace the sensor took longer than replacing the sensor itself, it took significantly less time to get the tools. I have been using it for several months now and have had no issues.
A new part worked well, and it only took me three minutes to swap it Not even a drop of brake fluid was lost. This part costs about $25 less than the same item from an auto parts store, which is a very good price. For your information The nut and housing have an outside diameter of 22 mm. A 7mm ribbon. It would have been better to use a 23mm box wrench instead of a 24mm. Nonetheless, it doesn't take much to take it off, and installing it correctly means you don't want to torque it too hard. 24mm worked great for this.
The wheel well liner was removed, and it fit perfectly in the wheel well of a 2008 Ford F-150 With a 350 drw, you can drive six lanes. I had a cruise control issue and this very much fixed it.
Easy to install and very quick to remove. It took me longer to remove the wrench than it did to install the part. If your cruise control doesn't work this will fix your issue.
I was able to fix my cruise control on my 2003 Explorer with no problems.
There is a possibility that it does not come with the adaptor. The reason I sent it back was because of that.
This simple fix helped me. You may have a malfunctioning one, so this is the likely The pressure switch needs to be replaced in just 2 minutes!.
