Questions & Answers

How do I know if this part fits my 2010 350 Ford Sd?

This is what I used on my 2008 computer. It was the cruise control that wasn't working that was fixed. The master cylinder should have an install bracket at the bottom. If the fender well needs to be removed and then accessed, this is the easiest way.

In order to replace the sensor on my 2004 Ford Explorer, the one recalled by Ford, I ordered this, but the connector does not Could you please tell me how much the cable is?

When my cruise control stopped working on my 2004 Explorer Sport, I purchased this part. For me, it was an easy installation and it took just a couple of minutes. For that part, I never received a recall notice from Ford.

When I push the CCC tab on my 2003 Explorer Sport XLT, the CCC flashes one fast blink. Do you think this will work?

Thank you for your reply, Nancy. I had the same problem on my 2003 Explorer, when I first bought The Cruise Control Cutover has been implemented - 5957 This is known as the "Off Switch" and is located under the brake The part that fixed the problem was not the right one. After this, I bought the #SW- part and installed it Cut-off the cruise control at 6349 Located by the brake booster at the top of the engine compartment is a switch that shuts off the unit. A corrected version of the part has now been installed and is working properly. It might be of use to you. I will be Alan D.

The brake secondary switch, also known as a cruise control cutout switch, is a miracle part
5/5

After having a sketchy cruise control system for several years, I searched online and found links to the cutout switch. The symptoms I was experiencing were completely out of the ordinary Sometimes there is no cruise control, and then there is cruise control at There has been a mass-publication of There was just no chance of it working most of the time. In any case, I was able to replace this part within four minutes. It was located at the front bottom of the brake master cylinder of my 2008 F250 diesel. As soon as it was unplugged from the harness, it was fairly easy to remove it, replace it, and plug it in again. It took my programmer a few hours to resolve the codes, but the cruise has just started working fully again, after not working at all for It looks like a happy camper to me. I appreciate it!.

The business is back on track
5/5

My cruise control sometimes came on for no apparent reason and my ABS light would flash for no reason. I searched Google to figure out why my cruise control was intermittent. The switch is weak when it deteriorates, so that is when the above condition(s) occurs. As a result of my search for Ford's part number, your Amazon Store website was able to offer me one. I ordered it, received it quickly, and repaired my cruise control in less than two minutes. There was a post by a dissatisfied buyer who complained about a broken wire harness. Br>*tbr>I expect that ABS will also be a thing of the past. My satisfaction with the installation of this part was enhanced by the fact that the original harness did not present any issues. A recall by Ford at some point involved a new switch and a small jumper harness. It would be great if Amazon added an additional photograph of the black connector end straight on. A buyer will be able to tell if this is the old or new connector end by looking at this. I just wanted to share a suggestion from one of our satisfied customers.

Fix it in a snap! Fixed a sporadic ABS light issue and a sporadic cruise control problem
5/5

This is a 2004 Ford Explorer XLT AWD V6.

During acceleration the ABS light kept on coming on. I had to shut off the car and restart it to turn it off. I would see it come on again if I accelerated too quickly. With the help of a code reader, I read the codes. According to the article, it read There is a problem with the main/primary signal of the C1440 pressure transducer. The online search told me it was time to replace the SW6349 Cruise Control Cutout Switch. However, most auto parts stores do not have it in stock. My mechanic recommended this Motocraft part. I ordered it here on Amazon with Prime. * * * * I just installed it A light on the ABS is no longer visible. Moreover, the cruise control is now working 100%, which it had previously only worked intermittently. I am very happy with the results. There is a part that is located directly on top of your brake master cylinder. A wrench with a long adjustment knob was needed It will take you 5 minutes. It's a good idea. Invest in this course today and you won't be sorry!.

Cruise control has been fixed
5/5

The Ford Explorer Sport Trac I have is a V6 4-cylinder 2004 Ford Explorer. The vehicle has 56k miles, a 0L engine, and 4x4. A trip on the blink has been taking place on the cruise. Some of the time it works, but most of the time it does not. The cruise control light on the dash blinks when the set button is pressed, but it does not stay on, and I cannot control the The problem is related to a failed cruise control brake cutoff switch located on the brake master cylinder (the switch is recalled on some models, but not my own). It provides no indication that cruise will engage if this switch doesn't function. It's hard to explain. I just got this replacement part, unplugged the old part, wrenched it off, wrenched the new part on, and now my cruise is working In fact, I didn't have to bleed the brakes (get rid of any This was an awesome fix that saved me.

I am very pleased with the product
5/5

I couldn't believe the price. That's half what the Ford dealer wanted for the exact same part. Cruise control kept turning off, and the ABS light kept The first thing I noticed was that it would solve both problems, after installing it I realized that both issues were addressed. I will give you a hint, You need to use Teflon tape when you install it on the threads. A Ford Explorer model manufactured before mid-2000 had a service report that stated it had fires caused by leaks near the It doesn't seem to leak from either one of ours, but it is something worth considering.

The part I needed was here for my 2004 Explorer
5/5

The part I needed for my 2004 Explorer is in this package. Cruise control would come on intermittently or rarely. As soon as I started accelerating quickly, the ABS light would come on and stay on until I turned off the vehicle. There may have been a connection between cruise control and acceleration or hard braking, but I am unable to say for certain. I was unable to get the dealer to provide me with the source of the problem or why they reported the codes they reported. The pressure switch works on three different models (U1900, C1805 and C1440) only after fast online research and finding others with similar problems, I decided to replace it. The cruise control now works perfectly and there is no ABS light. It only takes about two minutes to change. The 2004 Explorer isn't covered by the recall for some Ford trucks on this switch, but I checked other Ford trucks and they don't appear to be affected. Those who have similar problems should try this part before contacting a "service department. " The local parts chain stores do not carry this part or can get it. Try this part before you contact a "service department," and you will save both time and money.

The place is great for shopping
5/5

a mechanic with experience in service advisor roles and I was able to identify that the cut off switch was the problem and I went to Ford for a quote for I ordered the 00 special order and found the part number on Amazon, found a part for less than half the price and installed it myself. The cruise works again and I leave on 2-days. Within six months, I will be driving three days.

An intermittent error is reported by Cruise Control
5/5

There is a small module on the 2008 F250 that can fail, and one of the leading causes of cruise control not working is this. As long as you have a big wrench, it's fairly easy to replace. Torque it as much as you need to without overdoing it. Over a year ago, I had the sensor replaced and haven't had any errors since that first day that the system automatically recalibrated it for me.
