Questions & Answers

The 2008-6 version must be running in the background for this to work. What are the 4 F350s?

Amazon says it does from its vehicle make and model check. It is a quality part, and I would buy it again. It is an OEM part, which I installed myself over a year ago when I changed out my glow plugs.

The ring is made to fit 2003 F250 6-inch tires. ?

Although they seem to be the same, I am unsure. My 2003 Ford Excursion was compatible with this part.

This is not showing up on my 05 250. Could you please help me find it?

With the Ford Expedition with 7 cylinders in my 2000, it is equipped On the passenger side valve cover of the 3 engine, it is found near the top center.

I have solved the codes P0670 and P0683
5/5

A 2002 Ford Excursion 7 was purchased with this item. The turbodiesel engine is 3 cylinders. The Check Engine Light kept coming on (230K miles) and the P0670 and P0683 codes were displaying. The Glow Plug Control Module is responsible for generating both of these codes. My first thought was it was a malfunctioning glow plug relay, but it now turns out that the California and Excursion trucks back then did not have glow plug relays. It was this Glow Plug Control Module that they used. I liked the module and was able to install it without much trouble. Getting the nut out from the back was the most challenging part In order to get the socket on the nut, I had to loosen the intake tube for the turbo. In order to open the two wired connectors, you have to push in the tab on the back side (which can't be seen) I cleared the codes with my reader, and so far through six power cycles, the check engine light has not lit up again. It will take three cycles for the codes to appear again after being cleared, so keep that in mind just in case it wasn't the module you needed.

The perfect word
5/5

On my 2006 Ford F350, I noticed the check engine light had come on. A brand new harness was put in place after replacing the 8 glow plugs with the OBD2 scanner indicating that the number 1 glow plug had failed. During the course of about a week, the issue was resolved. I then noticed that the check engine light was on again. In addition, my OBD2 scanner indicated that my number 1 glow plug was no longer working. I finally found the answer to my problem by purchasing the Motorcraft Glow Pug Switch. A bit faster startup is also a benefit. *p>Thanks to the glow plug on the dashboard, the engine goes on faster and you don't need to hold the key on for as long to start.

I have a 2004 F250 with a 6
5/5

0 engine and this is a real Motorcraft part. Although I never got a code, even on cold days the truck had a hard time starting. The coil light would come on and off as usual but it wasn't really cycling the glow plugs, so I replaced it with this. Since then, the truck started without being plugged in even in freezing temperatures. My original Motorcraft box was in the original sealed package and looked exactly like the item I received. It's good to see that you can get a great part for a fraction of the cost.

This is an OEM replacement for the A 2007 F350 Powerstroke 6 0L Diesel Engine
5/5

This is the exact OEM replacement for my 2007 F350. Fixed an issue with my emissions code P0683 (Glow Plug module to transmission communication circuit) and also fixed a hard starting problem I had with my truck having to jump start the vehicle from time to time.

I was able to install it on my F350 really easily
5/5

After installing this on my 2004 F350 Diesel, I was able to solve the problem to no longer receive error codes for the glow plugs. Apparently the driver's side often fails as well, which I never knew In the future, if you would like to know if you are experiencing multiple glow plug errors, this switch might be at fault. On my F350, it is really easy to install. This is on the passenger side valve cover, and it's held on with two 10mm nuts. Just take out the plugs and the valve cover comes off easily. This item was a lot cheaper than any local stealership in my area, and after conversion it was still less than the local stealership. It's way cheaper than you might think!.

The first time I opened the box, nothing worked
3/5

Connected the unit and it became very hot, turned it off and brought it back. The old unit was changed during routine maintenance, and it now works as it should. As for the packaging, the item came in a Motocraft bag alright, but the bag was cut, and the unit was bubble-wrapped and in a sandwich ziplock bag at the same time. There are repackaged imports here, based on what I've seen. Then they are very deceitful if they are.

It's probably the switch for one side or the other that's bad in all even or odd numbered glow plugs
5/5

In cool weather, the 2004 Ford F350 is hard to start. During testing, it was found that all even glow plugs were defective. Chances are that it will happen. All switches were replaced on the even side and work is now back to normal.

There are no problems with my glow plugs
5/5

A problem occurred with four, six, and eight glow plugs, even after new ones were installed with a new wiring Therefore, the timer had to be used. With this set, I have been able to eliminate the codes and my truck only takes a few seconds to start.
