The windshield of a 95 caprice has a large enough surface area that I'm sure all three of these could be attached anywhere on it and still give you good visibility. In case you are so inclined, you could even attach three rear view mirrors. If you drove an old-fashioned sedan, then you'd be one of those fast and furious and reckless guys.
The element metal
It worked for me when I had a 1999 Buick.
My Porsche is being worked on. If you use a glue designed for attaching review mirrors to your windshield, some glues will not contract or expand due to the weather and could crack your glass!

My rear has been tried on all the major brands Our effort was a failure. We tried adhesives from 3M, Loctite, and Permatex and all of them failed to hold for more After several tries, I finally decided to go with the two part epoxy from Loctite and it worked great. I received the new Dorman Rear View Mirror Bracket, I sanded it down with fine grit sandpaper and cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol being very careful to not touch the bracket. In addition to cleaning the windshield spot where the new bracket would be installed with alcohol, I also cleaned the bracket itself with alcohol. In the end, I put about a pea-sized amount of epoxy on the metal mount and held it in position for about a minute. In order to be sure it's functional, I let it cure for a few days before attaching the mirror. In addition, avoid parking your vehicle directly in the sun. It is possible to affect the curing process by exposing it to high temperatures.
These are garbage in terms of quality. Because these pieces will never fit flat on a window, the edges need to be ground down. Please do not purchase them. The Doorman products prove once again that they are completely useless.
One of these is likely to work if you need a wedge mount to reattach a rearview mirror. There hasn't really been much luck with this game so far E6000 automotive and industrial glue seems to be compatible with these coatings, which are known as mirror adhesives. Then scuff up the mount with sandpaper, clean the windshield with alcohol, apply a thin layer of adhesive to the windshield, and press it on for a few minutes to set it. Then, set it in place with a piece of duct tape, and let it cure for at least a day.
The metal bracket that fit my Dodge Ram 2500 was one of three. A mirror came off off due to too much sun, and I believe the bracket fell in the defroster duct. I just used 'The WELDER' heavy duty all purpose adhesive. It sticks well, is easy to use, and I have been using it without any problems.
If you'd like to do this yourself, you can! Among the three options, I was able to find the perfect fit for my Ford Explorer multi-function rear mirror with headlight dimming functions. It was difficult to glue the glass back on during that process & A new mirror bracket made all the difference in the world. To get it to stick better to your windshield, be sure to "rough up the glue side" a bit with sandpaper. Thank you for finding the perfect fit and for providing such great service I am so thankful for saving me so much money at the car dealership.
It was all a waste of time. The mirror would always fall off after an hour, no matter what I did. I even polished it with 000 and soaked it in alcohol overnight. I always had to clean the glue residue off the windshield because the material is garbage and doesn't adhere to the adhesive. In the last 3 weeks, I found a new OEM piece of glass in a junk yard and it has been safely stuck to the windshield after a simple cleaning.
The first time was a failure. A little ridge is visible on the edge of the button where it was created. As a result of the ridge, I felt the button's surface was not in good contact with My first step was to file off the edge, clean it, and then glue The earlier attempt had taken 90 seconds to fail. The new attempt stuck within 10.
A few of these are not finished very well, and have a rough appearance like the surface of a cast iron pan. I sanded the one I needed for my F150 with some 120-grit sandpaper.
