Questions & Answers
Can this be fitted to a Jeep Liberty 2005?
Thanks for reaching out to me. There is no problem with the dashboard since I have a 2003 liberty with the same manufacturer.
Do you think this will fit a 2007 Jeep Liberty?
You are welcome. Thank you so much. There will be no problem fitting this to your car. Thanks a lot!
How many screws does it require?
If it's still secured to the original unit, any existing screws will need to be removed
Could you ask me a question about this part that says it fits a 1999 Plymouth Voyager, yet the Amazon check says it doesn't fit? Is this something that can work?
Metra 99 and other Metra services It should fit your 1999 Plymouth Voyager if you purchase the dash kit 6504. You have two options when it comes to the Metra kit. The opening in your new radio can be enlarged or reshaped to fit your radio, or you can install your new radio by installing it from the reverse side of the mounting kit if your replacement radio does not fit the adapter Use the side mounting brackets on the Metra kit instead of the mounting sleeve that comes with your new radio. Remove the mounting sleeve that comes with your new radio. It should fit the mounting holes in the dash of the Voyager using the mounting holes on the Metra kit. It is also important to purchase the wiring harness kit. Hope you have a great time.

Stereos that fit single din will not fit
The purpose of this purchase was to replace the stereo in my Jeep Wrangler. While the mount fits into the vehicle fine, none of the stereos I tried fitting in it Four single dins were tried by me. The measurements weren't even close. I'd estimate the sizes were at least half an inch too small in all directions. As far as I can tell, this product can work for nothing other than what There is no way to fit a stereo in.

This Face Plate Adapter is great for Chrysler applications
In addition to the slot below the radio, there is an additional storage compartment on this adapter. However, the slot is rather small and not This case can fit a naked smart phone or one with a thin cover, as well as a CD jewel case, but it won't hold Having said that, make sure to not slide anything small towards the back, as it will be hard to get it out. This adapter requires that you remove the trim plate and metal bracket that come with the aftermarket radio in order to use it. Mounting the radio to the adapter is accomplished with the screws provided (after these parts have been removed from the radio). At the bottom of the bracket, I attached a rigid foam pad so the weight of the radio would be spread evenly across the foam pad and not only on the screws and It seemed to me that the adapter was not strong enough to support the weight of the radio over time, especially in use in a vehicle. Be careful when using a radio with a flip down face as well. It might be difficult to open the adapter face forward since the face of the radio sits almost flush against the front face of the adapter.
Overall, the adapter looks great, the plastic grain of the face nicely complements the interior of the vehicle.

I can't believe what a joke this product is CD players typically fit in the 1 din slot, but not in the 2 din slot The face unit won't lay flat due to its rounded shape
There is no way they can sell this pile of trash. It's a quarter inch too small all the way around the inside where the CD player goes. Then I had to cut and file the edges to make it As the mounting surface has been rounded, your CD player will not fit flush, and you will notice about a half inch gap on either side. It would have been more efficient if I sent it back, but I had to use.

Kenwood radios are mounted from the rear, making installation an almost seamless experience
In the installation kit, there are instructions on how to take the dash apart, and how to install the Kenwood without a Metra has been my preferred transport route since 1988 for this reason. Our kits and harnesses are the best on the market.

This feature is not available on ALL single DIN units
The product works fine, but it will only be compatible with head units where the face plate is smaller than the unit's actual body (din size). In the form of a single din head unit with a retractable four-inch screen, I purchased it. There is no way to fit a 7" touch screen in this case. I was able to use the Scosche CR1277B without a hitch. Before you buy the Metra, make sure that this radio works with the radio you intend to use.
I strongly advise you not to buy! This is a waste of money
Do not buy it. Although it fits nicely into the dash, the stereo would not fit in it. I bought it for my son's Jeep stereo install and it fits the dash but not the stereo. used a dremel to make the opening bigger in order to put in a temporary lock until I can order a replacement lock that will actually fit. If it had not been Christmas morning and the new stereo was his present, I would have returned it. Despite the fact that the product and installation were excellent, I was absolutely disgusted by them. In the end, it took an hour and a half to complete what should have taken 15 minutes. Thank you for offering such a substandard product, METRA.
