There is a YJ in my family. I found the instructions to be unsuitable for YJ vehicles and the units were mounted to close to the body, so you could only step on them with your toes. The first one I made is To move them by 1 inch, make aluminum spacers out of it The body was moved an inch away from you and a 1-inch remote was purchased A bolt that is an inch longer. This is a good result for me.
This pair is easy to install and comes in a pair.
A bolt attaches them to the frame, they are easily accessible, and they are easy to install

On my TJ, I had to drill and add extra bolts to secure the steps to the body mounts on each side. At 2" lift, it was necessary to add extra bolts to keep the steps in place. After a couple of beers, 1 trip to Lowe's and a little knowledge of engineering, it took most of the day and some rudimentary engineering skills to get'r Since the steps, bracketry, and hardware were all so well-made, I thought it would probably be a similar problem with the next choice, so I kept it, since I suspected I would have the same issue with the next choice. Since a modification had to be made, I chose to do one. We are feeling better, and the final installation is looking very good.
The ones on my Jeep YJ are from 1993. The brackets installed easily. All that was needed to do was remove a couple body mount bolts. tubes are very small and are close to the Jeep body. Since they are close to the body, they stay out of the way while still enabling the Jeep to take that extra small step. My favorite part of these tubes is the texture, they have a coating that is both durable and smooth. thought these were a good purchase for their price.
This is an easy to install product. My time spent on both of them was about an hour. The bolts should be sprayed with blaster penetrating oil for a period of about four or five days (every day) before you attempt to remove them. In my case, the bolts on a 30 year old Jeep came out with no problems. Putting on the step bars was easy and the step bars feel very sturdy once they're in use. I really like how they look on the Jeep.
Deals are better than those available in stores. All you need are the tools to get started.
To keep the look understated, we went with black. Taking about ten minutes per side, the installation was simple.
The fit is excellent, the installation is simple, and the product is rugged.
For me, it was the sturdy construction, nice look, and ease of installation that made this product so appealing. There was very little difference between the price of this and.
This is an easy to install product. I thought it was a perfect I used it on my Jeep and it turned out beautifully.
