Pros: Durable. It looks fantastic. The price is reasonable, and it will not scratch the paint. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. It's too light weight and slick on the bottom, and it won't stay put, slipping around and falling off. It might work on a vehicle where it can easily flop over a fender and hang both ends, but it won't work on mine. Even if it could, it would almost certainly fall to the ground sooner or later. To keep it in place, I wish it had a little more weight and grip on the underside.
All three of them are in a bad way. When using these, remember to: Be aware that any oil or debris that gets on them on either side will be difficult to remove. So, how do you go about getting things done? Because of the chemicals and other contaminants that they trap, you can't wash them in the washing machine. There are no cleaning instructions or tags to tell you how to take care of them. What a colossal squandering of thirty dollars. I'll get magnetic and high-quality mats the next time.
Excellent value for money. I bought two of these to use on my vehicles for light and medium maintenance. They're a little on the small side for the pick-up. up truck, but it's great for cars. When I made this purchase (which does not always work as it should), I relied on the reviews, and I agree with them. This fender cover is well-made of high-quality materials, and it's as thick and padded as you'd expect for the price. Basically, it works and should last a long time for a fraction of the price of other fender covers (some of which appear to be inferior to these). It doesn t have magnets sewn in, but it still clung well to the sides of my car as long as I kept at least 50% of it on *top* of the% If you needed more magnets, you could easily duct tape them to it. I ended up purchasing a second one so that I could move the cover from one side of the car to the other without having to remove it.
Great fender covers, especially for the price; I'd give them four stars if it weren't for the added value. They're a little smaller than the rubberized fender covers I'm used to seeing. When not in use, they fold up neatly for storage. These are ideal for my 1985 BMW 325e, which I've been working on. Each fender will have its own. I have a large F150, and these would be useful for localized leaning or tool holding, but not as a cover. all in the event of a tool drop mishap in that situation.
For ten dollars, these are a fantastic buy. I bought two so I could put one on each side of the engine bay. They do a good job of protecting my paint and aren't too easy to remove. It would be preferable if they were held in place by magnets, but that would raise the price. They do have ridges in the middle that can be used to hold tools, which is very useful.
