The width is too A product like this is not suitable for my 2009 Mercedes-Benz My trim is 1" wide, whereas the pattern on the picture is 3/4" wide

Also, the pattern is black and does not appear as it did in the pictures. Gray and black are the most common colors of carbon fiber. That is at least how I feel about my other Carbon Fiber accessories, some of them not being.
