I am very glad to hear from you. The GLI model is the only one that fits correctly. The mirror glass on the regular Jetta (except for GLI models), is different from the mirror glass on the GLI models. Added to this are We would like to point out that this is just a simple piece of glass with adhesive there is nothing else (such as a plastic backing plate or the electrical heater connectors) attached to the back. Applying the seal causes it to crack

I was able to install the mirror, but it cracked simply by applying pressure. Neither the box nor the instructions provide any specific instructions. It was disappointing.

The 2012 Volkswagen CC was not a perfect fit it had to be forced in, and when you try to move it with the electric button inside the car, it will not move.
