Questions & Answers

Does it have an adjustable height?

It becomes "fixed" once it has been attached to the adhesive backing and cannot be adjusted.

My mirrors have these on them how can I get rid of them?

Using a razor blade or floss thread is the most efficient way to remove them. You will need to place the razor blade on the mirror with the flat side on the car. Work the mirror's adhesive onto the flat side. It cannot come off until it is removed. Ensure that you apply force to the blind spot mirror while holding the car mirror carefully so that you do not damage it. br>If you run into any problems, please let me know and I will be happy to send you a replacement blind spot mirror. A heartfelt thank you from Alhain

How is the mirror made? Is it plastic or glass?

Mirrors are made of plastic and have reflective surfaces.

What improvements have been made to the adhesive? According to some reviews, this item has a bad adhesive backing and I wouldn't want things to fall ?

There is a tendency for the adhesive to be A thinner product would be more appealing to me (just a I cleaned the car mirror with rubbing alcohol before applying the mirror sticker to prevent it from falling off. Likewise, the Blind Spot has stayed on the car mirrors so far (and I've gone through about 16 car washes since then). In my case, I had to install blind spot mirrors on the lower bottom side of my passenger mirror (the driver's side mirror has a blind spot mirror built in to the top As far as the rear view mirrors (from the rear of the car), I had hoped I could have installed both mirrors so they all looked the same. Well, that's all for now. The current one works, and until I get better match, I'm going to keep it as is.

This is a good product
3/5

However, my lack of ability to adjust this mirror and its irregular shape convinced me to find another. In order to find a blind spot mirror that worked for me, I purchased four different models from Amazon (including these Autopicar models). These were temporarily installed on my car, but I decided to return them. The reason why I didn't keep them is as follows. Here are some examples of #1 There is no way to adjust them. Mirrors on this wall are attached to a thick 2-inch piece of wood Tape with two sides. Probably the most frustrating aspect of this mirror is that it can't be moved once it's stuck on. . . and it can't be rotated independently of the At the moment my blinds are rectangular Amfor (Amfor) The spot mirrors in my car are installed. Each blind spot mirror is held a little bit away from the surface of your existing mirror using the small, adjustable pedestal provided with the Amfor units. gives you the option of changing the mirror's angle (up or down, The first time I heard of this, I thought it Having the ability to separate the blind spot mirrors from the primary mirrors is, however, a wonderful feature. A second downside is that you get only one shot at mounting them since they aren't adjustable. Unless you pull and/or cut it off (which can destroy the mounting tape) if you don't like the way you mounted it on your mirror, you can't do much about it. It's unfortunate that the mirrors do not include an additional 2-year warranty Tape with two sides. There is only 1 opportunity to try it out. In the end, I ended up choosing blind spot mirrors that came with a couple spare pieces of two It is for this reason that there is two-sided tape. Here is the #2 bullet point It wasn't what I expected to see in the mirror. Their shapes resembled the existing ones on my car better than I thought they would. Then I put them down, and they did not fit quite as well as I Although the mirrors might look like the ones on your car in general, they may not match exactly if that's what you are looking It is fair to say that their photo demonstrates an imperfect match. I had unrealistic expectations, and they probably exceeded my ability to fulfill them. It just didn't occur to me. No way are they going to make everything fit perfectly in these. Moreover, the mirrors' irregular shape made them more challenging to use and I had difficulties becoming accustomed to their shape. My personal preference is a rectangular blindspot mirror because of its symmetry. Obviously, you may not be affected by this and it is a matter of preference. Here is #3 There is an excessive amount of pixelation in the comparison photo. appears to indicate that the size of the blind spots will be much larger than with other In their comparison photo, they used a tiny round mirror, which may explain the size difference in image display, but the Autopicar mirrors display the same size image that I tested with other blind spot mirrors. I thought these mirrors, when I originally looked at their comparison photo, had some unusual property that magnified images (they don't). I don't think you actually need to have those tiny mirrors on your car, so that demo photo seems a bit unrealistic. It is easy to see why people prefer these mirrors, as they are quality and really well made. The products weren't quite what I was searching.

A better mounting solution is needed for the beautiful glass mirrors
4/5

Mirror glass no matter how you attach it is perfect. Foam attachment, however, is not so perfect. Using the double-e A suspect piece of double-sided tape is used to attach the blind spot mirror to the regular mirror. It looks like it won't last for an extended period of time. To attach the blind spot mirror to the regular mirror, I pulled off the foam from the mirrors and then used outdoor silicone caulk to attach it to it. In spite of its low profile, it still performs well Peel it off, and you'll have it on for a long time. To support the mirror while the caulk dries, use masking tape. Like the phone, it will have the same look and feel.

The first few weeks have been good
5/5

The other day I was looking for a blind spot mirror for my Subaru Outback and I came across some articles about how to adjust your side view mirrors to get rid of the blind spot. information I had never known and took me a week to get used to, but soon I didn't need a blind spot mirror. It's important to me to be able to see a bit of what's behind me in case my rear view mirror is obscured by the I became concerned when these mirrors did not exactly match the shape of my sideview mirror's upper right corner when searching for them, but once they were installed it didn't seem to bother me in any way. It wasn't important to me to get the ones that adjust, so I got the non-adjusting In my opinion, the adjustableness of these products does not matter to Putting them on the outside corner of the upper quarter of the windshield gives me the clear vision I want without obscuring what I see from my primary side view mirror. Ideally, the car would no longer be in my blind spot mirror, and instead, it would be right at my side, so I could see it with a glance, or with just a glance out of the corner of my eye to avoid stretching my neck further back. On this shot, you can see the white car partially in the mirror and partially behind the car seen out the window is the same car you can see partially in the regular mirror. A white car is out of sight in the rear view mirror when it is in the blind spot. Those cars that are behind the red truck are barely visible in my rear view mirror, and the tail end of the truck is barely visible as well. Find out how to properly adjust your side view mirrors (do a search for 'properly adjust side view mirrors' or 'adjust mirrors to avoid blind spots'), then turn these on to provide you with the additional visibility you seek. Never have I felt more confident about knowing where the cars are around me, and I never have to worry about my neck. I consider these to be a great purchase as long as they stay attached (ok, I've been wearing them for 3 weeks now).

There is no blind spot in a glass frameless enclosure
3/5

It has been noted that the mirrors are coated with film in other reviews. It came without those on the back and each one had a Left / Right letter on the back. On the back, there was a small round pad of foam rubber, which was covered by another half layer. The pad might be less effective in adhering to the car mirror once it creates a little pocket of air between it and the original one. In the end, I found that the reflection was very similar between the original and after cleaning the mirrors with ISO and drying. There was little difference in what I saw between the original and after cleaning the mirrors. My home computer did not have them, so I removed them and replaced them They are positioned better for me so I can use the wedge more effectively. Despite the effort, we didn't really change the view much. Initially, I gave it two stars because they are glass and look nice, but I took one away because they look good and another away because I didn't find them very helpful so I would rate it a 1, even thought I would give it zero (zero). A 2013 Prius was fitted and removed with this kit.

Upon installation I found it lying on the garage floor after it had been sitting all night without being used
3/5

I had installed it the day I received it, and the next morning I found it fallen off in less than 24 hours. You can see the mirror is still attached firmly to the mount, so it wasn't a failing of cleanliness or warm adhesive before attaching as you can see in the photo. It is clear that the mount is not attached to the spot mirror. This implies that the mount has not been properly cleaned. I think it is a good product if it is made properly. A product of this nature is not something I want to take a chance on based on my own.
