Questions & Answers
They aren't made to withstand the elements in the ocean. They're used as trailer and other vehicle markers.
For the grommet, you'll need to drill a 3/4-inch hole. br>br>Metal thicknesses of up to 3/16 inch are possible.
A 12 volt power supply is required for each light. Two lights in a series circuit would each draw 6 volts, three lights would each draw 4 volts, and so on. As you can see, each of the 12 lights would only receive one volt if they were all turned on. Adding more voltage, on the other hand, will not help.

The use of color coding was unexpected. The end result is outstanding- It was enjoyable to read. I had previously written a review expressing my dissatisfaction with the inoperative lights. After finishing the review, I did some research and discovered that the color code for wiring this item is not what you'd expect - Despite the presence of White Lead, I discovered that a Black Lead, you would typically 'assume' that the Black Lead is Ground or (-). However, this was not the case. And the White lead should have been positive (), but it wasn't. It was the other way around. I'm not sure why, but other users who had similar problems said the leads were reversed after reading this. So I gave it a shot. Wow, that was effective. If you purchase this product, keep in mind that this is a critical step, regardless of which manufacturer you purchase it from: The concept of polarity is not the same as the concept of opposites. Enjoy!.
I wasn't expecting them to work well for the price, but after installing one on each side, I was blown away by how bright these little lights were. Great buy, and I still have eight more to put in the wheel wells and belly of my Jeep as rock lights. For the price, I would strongly recommend it.
These look great on my snowmobile trailer, and they were simple to install by drilling a hole and pushing them in. br>Update: It's January 2021, and one of the yellow ones has already failed; I only use the trailer about a dozen times a year, so I'm surprised it hasn't lasted longer.
It is very simple to set up. Drill a 3/4-inch hole, then insert the trim grommet and the light into the grommet. I was able to get a head start on things because I was able to plan ahead of I wired my entire set, then inserted the string into the wall, fished each one out of its hole, and pushed the grommets back in. br>I like how well-sealed they are as well. My installation is in a fairly harsh environment, and it's been performing admirably thus far.
The lights, like most 3/4-inch markers, are sturdy, bright, and well-sealed. My only gripe is that only 9 out of ten of the items worked. I spent way too much time troubleshooting my wiring only to discover a dead led. Hardwiring should be tested first.
Even though I only needed one right now, the price was really good when I bought a ten pack. It's being used as a freeze-protection monitor light, so it had to be visible, which it is.
This light is well-made. It's exactly what you'd expect, and it's a fantastic deal. I like how the light can be easily pushed out of the rubber housing (don't get me wrong, it won't fall out while it's turned on). This means it's simple to replace or switch it out for a different color.
They appear to be well-built and simple to put together. The positive and negative wires aren't the same as I'm used to seeing. br>On the lights, the white wire is negative and the black wire is positive; this isn't a problem; they work fine.
