As there were two lights on my 2013 Dodge Ram that were blown (driver's side and passenger's side), I purchased these replacements. The light was slightly smaller than the original size and did not fit completely like the original. This was pointed out through one of the comments on the site. As a matter of fact, this is true. Having removed my truck's factory mirror lights and replacing them with these replacements, it was not a tight fit and left a small gap at the edges. The situation is not obvious to me whether it is going to be an issue. I replaced both lights on the driver's side as well as the passenger side of my truck. Although they didn't match the original size, they fitted well and I was able to replace both lights. On the passenger side of the car, I accidentally broke the small mirror which cost me $30 to replace. If you take these mirrors off, be extra careful as they are priced at 00 dollars each. There will be a break in them. There are bright lights in the room.
As long as you do not break your mirror when removing it, this mirror is easy to install. I don't think it fits quite as tightly as factory, but it's not bad at all. On the curved sides, there is a noticeable gap, but it's possible to get it tight enough if you hold the light in place while tightening the retaining screw.
The fit reminded me of the original. Through the winter, there have not been any issues. My experience with the truck is 3 months and over. It's a 2013 Ram 250.
They are good for what they are. The sort of thing that makes it appear they aren't even there. It is not too bright during the daytime either. Honestly, I think I'm still going to switch to clear. I would not buy it again knowing what I know now, but it worked for what I needed.
I received the product within a short time. Getting the system up and running wasn't difficult. It could of been better if the product had included new screws mine were rusted and both broke when I removed them and I am afraid when you put the screws in the plastic they are too big and take a chance of cracking the plastic connectors to the OEM harness don't fit.
Although there is a small gap around the housing, no problems were found. I did have to hit one of the lights a couple times to get it to work, but it hasn't been an issue since then.
It took me less than 20 minutes to do it myself. One of the most difficult parts of this job was finding a Spot mirrors should not be on.
A good product, but it could be improved in terms of fit.
